Great Fish and seafood bistrot in the oyster capital of Brittany
frankly, the food is so so not incredible at all very simple i ordered a grill meat with fries it was ok and the oysters were good the waitress (tall skynny old women red hair with glasses) was friendly and very talkative she just needs to be little more professional and not talking about the others (owners restaurants close by) to the customersthe restroom was dirty !!!!!!!!!!!

Wandered along the seafront looking at various menus before deciding to eat here. Good menu du jour at 18 euros each. Moules frites as a main course and king prawns with mayonnaise to start. Nice simple lunch. Service was fine.

We're visited Cancale coming from Boston US, Montreal Canada, and Paris France. The owner of the restaurant (lady) and staffs were so nice to us, welcoming us like we were special guests. She answered all our questions on the menu and she even suggested some fish options. We ordered the Cancale Oysters which are very well known in France, and mussels with Fries. The food was so tasty and delicious. Couple comment, I wished the Oysters were a bigger class as ours were small and the mussel were a bit on the salty side but I think it had to do where they pick up the mussels in salty water, but food was great. We ended up with a delicious dessert selection (chocolate pear tarts, Breton Far, chocolate mousse, Floating Island, etc). The owner served us Amaretto drink shot to close on the dinner. We were treated like VIP guests, staffs were always checking after us. We had a great experience and I will not hesitate to return to this restaurant.

Locally hand made and homemade products in a typical brittany decor. Sweets pancakes, buckwheat pancakes, oysters from Cancale, Local Mussels and a lovely hand made whole fish soup.
We've stopped by after having tasted so many fresh oysters at Marché aux huîtres. Neither of us wanted to have a fancy meal at the restaurant, but some carbs would be nice for a change :)The galettes were tasty, fresh, like homemade, the service was rapid and the prices were reasonable. Good placeThank you for your friendly message. We are pleased that you all enjoyed our Brittany delicacies and had a good time amongst us. We hope to greet you again in the near future. From all the Ty Skorn team.

I have reviewed this restaurant before but it seems to get better every time we visit!! This time with our sister and friends, we pre-booked for lunch to ensure getting a table as people queue to get in. The food was, as ever, excellent. I had the moules which although small due to the weather, were sweet and tasty. My wife chose the ham which she loved for its taste and tenderness. The staff were very attentive and pleased that we loved the food.

A menu for under 15 Euro with Oysters and Mussels and a nice ice cream is top! Very friendly couple managing their own restaurant real family-style!!! Recommended!!!

Without a doubt the food was expertly prepared - superb fish dishes. We enjoyed wonderful oysters followed by tasty choices from the specials board. In itself that would have warranted more stars but, from a subjective perspective, the invasive nature of the staff was an interruption to our enjoyment. There is a big difference between being âup oneselfâ and knowing that your food is good.

Les Plateaux de fruits mer UNIQUEMENT SUR COMMANDE 72 heures avant et uniquement a partir de 2 personnes.
We enjoyed their 3-course menus -- food is creative and well-prepared. Ambiance is warm, and table settings elegant. Service was professional. We'll continue to return.

Beach bar Restaurant with a seaview with a terrace along Sillon beach located att walking distance from the fortified city St Malo. Restaurant bistrot type with 25 seats inside and 80 outside on the terrace. Home made cuisine with seafood platters, fish,
Hmm. What to say? The hotel is indeed charming and in a lovely position on the sea front. The terrace is well positioned and popular. But. Half hearted weary check in. Had to climb over discarded mattresses and linens to get to our (admittedly nice) room. What spoils it is the service on the terrace. Off hand. Rude. Slow. Not a thank you to be had. For the first time in 10 days on France we felt unwelcome. And it is more than 2km walk into town. Not the 1 the hotel claims. So bear that in mind. On the whole, disappointing. Look elsewhere. Dear Mister curryFirst of all, thank you to take your time to give us your impression, we will appreciate that you told us when you checked out, about the check in, if you saw the linens on the floor, it's because you arrive in advance and we gave you the key before the check in time, and we don't put on the floor the mattress. In the restaurant I'm really disappointed if you get this feeling our team try to do the best to satisfy all of our guests. And to finish, when you ask how far is the old city, we are speaking in time and not in km, the distance is about 20 minutes walking it depends the sense of the windBest regardsAnne

Due to the reviews we expected a lot from this place. In retrospect we realize: some things were good, many things were not. Both appetizers were disappointing, the ravioli watery, the beetroots close to tasteless. Of two times calf one was massively tough. The pre-ordered dessert was sold out at the end. Conclusion: disappointing.Dear Francis, First of all thank you for your review. Your remarks imply an answer from us.The ravioli (which are 3) are not "watery". They came on plate with a celery water wich is a full part of the receipe. It's a shame that you didn't undersand that as it is written on the menu. The beetroot may not been your taste but how could be a beetroot tasteless ! It's marinated into red wine sauce and comes on plate with sour cream spum, smoked duckling breast, wild peppers mix and fines herbs ! Maybe the beetroot wasn't what you expected as you asked our waitress many times "what is a beetroot ?" ! I'm also really suprised about one the calf beeing "tough" as both of your pieces comes from the same animal. Nevertheless you didnt asked us for another one we would had been pleased to prepare again especially for you. Finally, again, we aplogogize that the chocolate dessert you pre-order wasnt avaiblable but I personnaly decided to don't serve it as it didn't meet the quality level that I impose on kitchens.
