What a hidden treasure. Such great ambience, authentic Italian food and awesome service. Our friend had pre-ordered all the appetizers and the main course and everything was top notch. The waitress made sure that the appetizers were being brought 2 at a time, not all together, which gave us a chance to really relish them as well as chat away. The personal touch of the Owner Cam coming by to say a Hello and then offering us Sambuca on the house was the icing on the cake. Will definitely be going back to this restaurant, hopefully real soon

4 for dinner on a Saturday with a reservation. Nicely separated seating arrangement, friendly service. Ordered the Chicken and Veal Schnitzel in mushroom sauce and the Veal Cordon Bleu. Dishes came with a small greek salad, rice, garlic mashed potatoes and fresh bread. The quantity of food was good for the price. The tomatoes in the greek salad were cold and tasteless, the rice was dry and hard and the schnitzels could have used more mushroom sauce. The meat in the dishes was tender and nicely cooked. We left just past 8 PM so missed the one man entertainer. Credit cards accepted.

Second time at this great French restaurant and once again the food was delicious, the service excellent and the prices very reasonable. We had Coq au Vin, Canard and halibut bouillabaisse, followed by poached pear and lemon tart for dessert, all wonderfully prepared. We'll be back soon!

Located on the third floor of the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown Hotel; with outdoor terrace seating in summer and offering Burnaby's best sunday brunch. Reflect offers the ideal setting to sit back and reflect with friends while enjoying a tempting array of
This onsite restaurant inside the Hilton Metrotown Hotel, is a pleasant surprise. Yes there is the usual buffet meals available, but what is worth highlighting is the specialty dinners available at different seasons of the year. Currently (ending September 8th), its the "all you can eat" BBQ meats with a wide selection of proteins, salads, and side dishes - well worth the $23 price tag. Starting September 13th, its Autumn's turn with various winter soups and sides, for $30 all you can eat. The hotel itself may be somewhat past her prime, but this restaurant definitely isn't! Highly recommend the food, the service and the prices. Friendly and efficient wait staff and comfy seats in the lounge section. On good weather days, eat out on the rooftop section with great views of the distant mountains.Dear TravelingWoman001,Thank you very much for taking a moment to share your dining experience with us, and thank you for the awesome plugs! I am delighted that you enjoyed your dinner and hope that you will join us for our Harvest Buffet! We have more exciting things coming so keep your eyes open.Cheers,Michael

This is a very small restaurant in Burnaby Heights but the food is so delish. They have a limited menu mainly of sandwiches but the sandwiches are out of this world. We had the lamb shank and caramelized onion in a baguette. The baguette was so chewy and tasty. The filling of lamb and onions to die for. Also had the onion soup. As good or better than you get in France. The french fries so crispy and good. We had the creme brûlée to finish. Creamy with a nice crunchy crust. It's a very busy place so you might want to make a reservation. The entire time we were in there there were no empty tables.

We are family run small cafe specializing in mouth watering french classics with an casual contemprary style. The traditional brunch items would include braised short rib with poached egg and red wine sauce or a tolouse special cassoulet with swiss cheese
It was a girlfriend who introduced me to this place. Tucked away off Mountain Highway was where we found Tour de Feast. A small and cosy place filled with many hungry patrons.Luckily we got a table on a weekend at around 1 pm. All items on the menu looked yummy which made it a difficult choice. We ordered the smoked salmon breakfast (came with fried eggs, English muffin and smoked salmon) and the Croque Madame sandwich (a toasted Brioche with melted Gruyere cheese with Black Forest ham and heirloom tomatoes sandwiches in the middle along with potatoes and a small salad). Both were equally tasty, fresh and flavourful. The desserts looked heavenly but we were too full. They also offer dinner and catering if you want more of this yummy food. Parking is a challenge and almost non existent. Service was friendly and the atmosphere has a good upbeat vibe. Canât wait to try their dinner. They advised that the dinner menu changes every few days which is a reason to come back over and over again.

Cozy, family restaurant with interesting decor. The lights are fairly low though, so it is hard to see all the old items from Yugoslavia on the wall. The food is generously portioned, deliciously flavoured, and reasonably priced. Service is very friendly and helpful, albeit a bit slow. The traditional mezes for two appetizer is really for 4 and is very tasty. The schnitzel is scrumptious, with a side of potatoes that melt in your mouth. Everyone in our party of 5 enjoyed their meal, and 3 of us took home leftovers. Cap off your meal with a traditional âbrandyâ, if you want to completely cleanse your palate (but perhaps not right before driving!).

We are a nationally acclaimed restaurant that is nestled into a century old home. This magnificent transformation has allowed us to become one of the lower mainland's most popular eating establishments. Enjoy First Class European Cuisine, served with styl
The schnitzel portion was large and crispy, the Jaeger Schnitzel was done well and spaetzle was delicate and tasty. Their Kombacher Dark German beer was excellent, similar to Guinness, velvety with a light cocoa and roasted malt flavour. The restaurant is bigger than it looks with seating arrangements in different rooms and also different patio levels for outdoor seating. The service was good except could do with more smiles from one of the waitresses.

Absinthe Bistro offers modern and classic french cooking on Commercial Drive
This movie star caliber owner couple-run place is well managed and highly recommendable as to both the quality and service, along with the values. I would be delighted to bring visitors to Vancouver to this place, where the couple are genuinely friendly. I always look for a small, family run restaurants which tend to cut corners to keep the prices at minimum yet providing quality meals.
