Surprising how my review from a few months ago can almost be repeated. Except the decor has been nicely updated. The Thai spring rolls were good, typically served with sweet chili sauce but these were served with a teryaki or hoisin sauce. Typically served with a shredded carrot and cabbage garnish these were served with none. The main dish was ok. The veggies were chopped a bit small in particular the tiny pieces of bell pepper. The sweet and sour sauce was too runny, even though the menu claimed a thick and tangy sauce. The waitress was very nice and helpful.The whole thing was just ok, not my favorite, my colleague liked his dish.

Went there for lunch a couple of weeks ago, did not expect much, bit of a dive on the outside,,,,,,,,,Interior was first rate, clean, service was excellent, the Buffet some of the, if not the Best Chinese I ever had, really worth every cent., Sushi and Clifornia Rolls great, nice arai of items and all fresh and tasty......

We picked a poor day to pop into Oishii Express for an early supper. There was some sort of high graduation event at the nearby park, with lots of people coming and going in their best clothes. That made parking a bit of a challenge, but we finally found a spot not too far away. When we ordered, we were slightly surprised to find that we couldn't have sake, as they do not have a liquor license. However, it wasn't a make-or-break thing for us, so we just ordered green tea instead. The restaurant is a bit plain, but not shabby by any stretch. The sashimi was good and fresh, and the hot dishes were fine as well. By the time we were done, the restaurant was slammed with folks coming from the high school celebration, so that I had to pay at the till instead of paying the server, but I don't think this is likely to be typical.

We started as a food truck in Salmon Arm, and with the support of the wonderful people here, have grown into our current incarnation as a quick service restaurant serving South East Asian noodle boxes, wraps, salads and soups.

The food is pretty good here. It smells great, and the shop is modern and clean. There were a lot of staff, it seemed, and I think they were a bit more focused on socializing amongst themselves than on creating ambience for customers. My order came quickly. I had requested extra pork with the noodles, and I don't really know if I got more. The pork (if it was pork, it almost felt like beef) was too lean, not moist and luscious like it should be in an Asian meal, and felt like overdone pulled-pork. Would have liked to have rated this higher, perhaps just caught them on an off day. Also, I thought it was a little on the pricey side for amount of food I got.
