We arrived with a confirmed reservation for the dining room to find it was closed. Incompetent hotel management! However, Jay, the waiter at the Copper Room, a pleasant guy with an engaging attitude asked if we wanted to try the Copper room. We did and Jay made the evening a wonderful experience with outstanding service and an anticipatory approach. The food was excellent and the few substitutions were requested because of allergies and dislike were accommodated without hesitation. The wine list was limited but he knows his wines and discussed them by comparing them to other Okanogan wines that we knew. The seafood was local wonderfully prepared and presented as food art. The pasta was fresh and the sauce as ell, not sitting on a pot for hours. Forget the dining room. This place is wonderful.....and a lot more reasonably priced! Thank you Jay for rescuing our evening from incompetent Sooke Harbourhouse management.

Every time we visit Sooke our first stop is Buffyâs. Great staff and the best pub food. You peel prawns, fried prawns, schnitzel, steak, burgers and the list goes on! Stop by, you will enjoy it!

Sooke's Sports Lounge. Big Screen sports, delicious pub style food, great drinks, friendly service, heated patio. Open for food and drink 4pm - midnight every day at the Prestige Oceanfront Resort
First time at the Vault. Small and cosy sports bar in the Prestige Hotel. Comfortable seating, great live edge cedar tables but a bit small. A place you want to go to right at 4pm on a Saturday because soon after that the place has filled up. Great, fast service for drinks and appies. Split calamari with my hubby. It was good but we like our calamari more crispy than soft that was served at the Vault. For dinner, I had the Pacific Poke (prounced pokay), a Hawaiian raw fish salad. The Vault serves their Poke with Quinoa in a large bowl. I found lots of salad and quinoa but the dish was short on tuna which was disappointing for me. The meal itself was huge and very filling. Overall it was okay but doubtful I would order it again. I find the Tuna Stack they serve to be much better although I find the price to be high. My hubby had the Crispy Chicken Sandwich which he enjoyed and the fries served with the sandwich and burger are excellent. Everyone seemed to enjoy their appies and dinners although all six of us found the portions to be overly large. Great atmosphere and we will try it again.Thank you for the review. We do have generous portions so our guests don't leave hungry! We look forward to seeing you on your next visit.CheersTracy S

Went her and enjoyed the back patio while waiting for my husband and son to finish their zip line excursion which is right next door. The back patio area is absolutely amazing. Games space, nice tables, great service. Not once did I feel forgotten about out there and I was also made to feel welcome even though I was not eating anything. Just enjoyed a glass of wine and the ambiance. After the family showed up, we had a great meal. The service was wonderful and the menu has a great laugh in it if you are looking! Two burgers with fries and the Brie and Bacon sandwich special were ordered, everything was delicious. It is a nice stop along the road and a perfect end to the zip line line road. Thanks for the great experience to all of the staff and the owner! Love to see an owner as committed to the success of their business as the want their staff to be. He ran out the gravy order - again, great to see!

Wow. You would a half empty restaurant in the middle of the week could manage to get the food to you at least WARM, if not HOT. Or they would stop back at some point to see if the food was satisfactory. Nope. We ordered a total of four hot dishes between the two of us and got four lukewarm servings. They did not stop back during the meal, and didn't ask at the end if was OK. Bad across the board. You can do better.Hi There,Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. I apologize for the disappointing experience you had. We did have some staff shortage that weekend and I am truly sorry that you had to suffer because of it. We are much better than that ...I promise! I hope that we get the chance to redeem ourselves next time you travel this way. Thanks again for your time.Kindly,Valerie

Route 14 is a casual Bistro/Pub style restaurant that offers a seasonal menu by Chef Ash Lenick. We offer many gluten free menu items and a full bar with 3 TV's featuring all your sports action. 6 beers on tap. Fine selection of local spirits and wines. C
We came here for dinner after being on a whale-watching tour that was about an hour longer than necessary and were feeling very disheveled and windblown. No matter. Rt 14 has a casual, pub-like atmosphere and exactly what we were looking for that night. The chicken club and fish and chips were both delicious. It seemed like a place where locals would eat that is also quite welcoming to visitors. The bar area was crowded and somewhat small so they had us go next door to the brewery to wait until a table was available for us.
