The restaurant provided great service and food. The drunken noodle dish was one of the best I have tasted. Plenty of food and great atmosphere. Thank you so much Randy. Much more happiness is you and family had a great time and experience with Thai food. Kob khun kha (thank you so much)

If you're used to good Thai food, then take this place with a grain of salt. I'm always a bit leery about Thai restaurants when serviced by non-Thai staff but reserve judgement until I try the food as there's often Thai chefs cooking behind the scenes. If that's the case here, then someone needs to take a Thai cooking class. There are three dishes I use to rate a Thai restaurant I try for the first time: curry, fried rice, Pad Thai. If I'm in the mood (i.e., need a sugar rush), then I'll also try the Thai iced tea (but didn't order it this time). This place only scored well with the curry. In this case, the GOONG PAD PHONG KARI (sauteed prawns and mixed vegetables with egg in thick yellow curry sauce) was very tasty. I had asked for it medium but they served it mild, which was fine. The flavours came out well. The Pad Thai (traditional) on the other hand, was the biggest disappointment. I asked for it mild and they screwed up and served it medium, clearly confusing my order with the curry. Regardless, the worst part of it was that it tasted like they used ketchup in the sauce! I've only ever heard of low-end restaurants doing this, and to me, it's sacrilegious! And we typically like to order pineapple fried rice, but the closest thing on the menu was KAOW PAD SUPPAROD (fried rice with egg, shrimps, pineapples, peas, onions and choice of chicken, beef or pork). Another disappointment. While it wasn't bad as far as fried rice is concerned, it didn't taste "Thai" but more like Chinese fried rice. So while the restaurant decor, inside and out, and ambiance give a good Thai impression, the food is far from tasting distinctively Thai. Staff are friendly however, so I may consider giving it another try at lunch (did take-out dinner this time round), but won't have high expectations. If you're looking for more authentic Thai in Abbotsford, try Great Bangkok Thai restaurant. While the interior decor is outdated, the food is more authentic-tasting and delicious, cooked by a Thai couple!
This is our favorite new spot. Bee, the owner is sweet and very polite. We are so happy they move from Aldergrove to Abbotsford. Everything we have had on the menu has been really good. Excellent prices. The soups are a must order every time we are in.

Small, very basic restaurant. What they lack in ambience they make up for with the flavors of their food. It has never been very busy when we've been in so we've always had prompt, attentive service. Might be considered a bit pricey but we don't complain about it as the food is so good.
