Wow! The food and service was excellent. I ordered a few items to go and the time quoted was bang on. I was outside the restaurant when the lady chases me outside with the bread she forgot to include. Excellent spaghetti and meatballs, arancini risotto balls and beet salad. Simply outstanding!

We went there tonight for the first time. We live 5 minutes away and a few people said it was good. First off, the staff is friendly and good. That's the one positive. The decor is totally dated and stereotypical. Nothing like what a real Italian restaurant would look like. The food was pretty mediocre and nothing near what real Italian food is. The pasta was overcooked and the sauce contained ingredients that made no sense - broccoli, green peppers, carrots and whatever else was in there. Everything tasted like prepackaged food. Not to mention I found it very overpriced for the quality. There are way better restaurants in Nanaimo. Save your money. We won't return.

Nice little family style restaurant with a varied menu, something for everyone. We have been ordering a couple of pints and a large bellisimo pizza, very good. The service has been consistently excellent, friendly staff, and all of the food going out around us looks great.

We're visiting a friend who took us here. The premises are ok, furniture comfortable. It is a pub after all. The place was busy though. The wings were good. We had the cabbage rolls (fair). Bob had shrimp ( good) they say the pizza is excellent. They do have lots of TV's, live entertainment Saturday, and an outside patio. Good time- wouldn't rush back
