Hooded Merganser

Named after the rare and reclusive North American duck that shares its name (and flew onto the restaurant patio during name selection) the Hooded Merganser is a culinary and architectural masterpiece that straddles Okanagan Lake to offer panoramic views o

We walked along the beautiful lakeshore walkway, which lead to the restaurant entrance. It is on the water, with an unobstructed lake view. Glorious sunny morning. We shared a breakfast Omlet, which came quickly with super frindly service.

I’ve eaten at the Station Pub numerous times over the years & I’ve never been disappointed. From the “special of the day”, oven baked pizzas, to their salads....delicious every time. I always ask to be seated in Nicole’s section!! She’s been working there for years & is a fantastic server and very accommodating. She always knows the appropriate times to approach your table, the timing with your foods, to her welcoming smile & warm personality. I’ve visited the pub with my husband, girlfriends & with family, it’s a great atmosphere for everyone!Thank you so much! We really appreciate your kind words. Nicole will be thrilled to hear all of the nice things you've said about her.Hope to see you in again very soon at The Station Public House

We had dinner elsewhere as we are tourists. Found the N & N by default as it is next to the theatre. The coffee was nice. The dessert was good. The staff were disorganized and not really welcoming. Their personal talk was more important than clean benches and organized service. Hey there happenstance2018I am unsure what you mean by the comment of clean benches and organized service. Typically during the theatre evenings we see a large volume of diners and guests before the show. Cleanup after the show goes in takes some time as all the diners want to come at the same time. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the coffee and dessert however and if you'd like to discuss the comments about service with me personally I'd be all ears on how we can get better. Feel free to drop me an email when you have time! [email protected] Foster

Six of us had dinner last night and the food tasted good, however, two of the six orders of food were wrong. They offered to fix but since the meal was already prepared and the rest of us had our meal we kept what we were incorrectly given. One couple was going to share a meal and two meals were given and the other meal was totally the wrong order with the wrong protein. No credit in the bill for the extra order of food that wasn’t ordered.

We had an amazing time at Serendipity Winery's Bongo's Bistro Chef Bongo's peanut soup is what brought us here and it exceeded our expectation. We enjoyed the Miso Glazed Sablefish was tender, flavourful & perfectly paired with Viognier. The vegetarian goat cheese & basil gnocchi was light and delicious. The lycee creme brulee was the perfect ending to a beautiful evening.
