We werenât disappointed. When asked about the spice level we asked for medium and that is what we got. The portions are amble even an order of Naan could be a meal. Best of all was the service. Friendly staff asking the right questions at the right time. We usually go for happy hour because the prices are cheaper. We both donât eat big meals so it is perfect for us. I was lucky enough to bring my support staff to the Sammy Jâs in South Surrey (Morgan Crossing) on the evening of April 26, 2019, for our annual Administrative Assistants Dinner. What can I say? The food was excellent, the atrium a perfect place to book for our private event, the drinks tasty, and the staff just excellent. I was lucky enough to be one of 20 people and although the atrium at Sammy Jâs can comfortably accommodate 50 or 60 people, it worked really well with our group of 20. The servers were on top of everything, the appetizers top-notch, the meals excellent, and the drinks satisfying as always. I think what I enjoyed most was the fact that the servers really made my staff feel like they were important, like tthis was their special night, and that they were in a private setting, albeit in the middle of a large bar and grill.I highly recommend Sammy Jâs at Morgan Crossing for any kind private function. Speak to Grant, the managing partner, to book the atrium. Or, if youâre just looking for a great place to come for dinner with friends or family, pull up a chair at the bar or in one of their booths. You will not be disappointed!
