Yamagoya comes highly recommended and for good reason. When we arrived it was quite busy. We were able to sit at the sushi bar. Service was surprisingly fast. Also surprising was how fast we started receiving food. Every dish was delicious and looked great. Definitely will repeat.

The service was outstanding, we had a very nice waiter, his suggestions for food were right on the mark. The food came quickly and it was excellent. We thought the price was very rasonable as well. I will definitely eat here when I am in Fernie again.

SushiWood is the newest addition to Fernie offering a wide range of Japenese and Korean food as well as fresh Sushi at a very reasonable price. A well appreciated addition to Fernie, Sushi wood offers a comfortable relaxed dining experience for guests as
The food here was great! Myself and 7 friends came here after skiing and snowboarding for a great dinner!! We got our own little room, it was super nice. Sushi was delicious and a couple of us got other food that was really good too! Kudos (and sorry) to the Irish waiter that dealt with us very politely when we were drunk and rowdy hahaha
The location of the Truck is along the highway #3, surrounded with views of the Fernie mountain's . There are lots of picnic tables for you to enjoy your meal at. Or you can grab lunch to go. The truck uses many local ingredients in their dishes
Fresh ingredients, with herbs growing right at the truck, but very expensive considering there is very little overhead involved. I had a sub which was tasty, but could have been a larger portion as I was still hungry afterwards. For the price paid, I should not walk away hungry.
