Ithaka Greek Restaurant is a family-owned business that celebrates culinary and cultural traditions through authentic, healthy and lovingly-prepared food. Be our guest!
We booked a table in advance and as soon as we walked in we were welcomed with open arms by Dimitri. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly and happy to offer suggestions in this lovely family restaurant. Between 4 of us, we shared the Appy platter and then also shared Santorini prawns and lamb souvlaki. I can honestly say that this was one of the tastiest meals Iâve ever had! Exactly what was needed after almost 24 hours of travelling! It took about 20 minutes to walk from our hotel on the harbour, but I would 100% recommend it!

Fantastic Caesar salid. Duck confit leg with lamb chops was outstanding. My wifes pasta was very good and authentic. This comes from a NYC Italian. The dessert was terrific, a decadent mixture of chocolates. Make reservations or be prepared to wait 30 - 60 minutes.

My first big dinner on my trip to Victoria was a grand success! The overall feel of Bodega was cozy but not overcrowded. sitting outside was definitely a good choice for the noise levels, but with the warm weather it was preferable anyway. We started the night off with the Bodega Board and mixed Olives, which were both good. I am a lover of Charcuterie Boards and this one although tasty, left a little room to desire. There was a great selection of meat and cheese, but the pickles served with the board we not enough. I feel like you need the sharpness of pickled vegetables to cut through the rest of the rich food, and unfortunately this was not the case. That was the only letdown for the entire evening, the rest of the night from the wine selection to the tapas were divine. We started our adventure with the Tosta De sardinas, which were full of flavor and texture. Then we moved onto the Ceviche, bold with citrus zest and perfectly plump pieces of scallop. Last but not least the Clams and Chorizo, not my favorite dish but still extremely lovely and a great balance of the sausage smoke in the beautifully steamed clams. Not to much food that we were stuffed, but for sure enough to feed the three of us sharing to satisfaction. A spot that I would go back to anytime I happen to be in Victoria.
