We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this Indian restaurant in Whistler, where things trend to the touristy. Located at the end of Village North, on the second floor, it's a place you're not likely to just stumble upon while walking around the Village, but it's worth seeking out. There's not a buffet or pre-selected combination meals; this is an authentic Indian family-style menu. An appetizer and three dishes shared by a couple was just the right amount of food. All of the food was excellent. The chicken was perfectly grilled and moist, the lamb was tender, and of course great naan to mop up all the wonderful sauces. You choose your spice level of preference for each dish. Great place and would highly recommend.

Popped into Masala Bistro for a take-away after snowmobiling - it was convenient but on reflection wish we had gone to one of the Indian restaurants slightly further from our apartment.Food was expensive - even by ski resort standards - but unfortunately the quality didn't make up for this and justify their high prices. There was very little meat in any of the dishes, several of the base sauces were unrecognisable, rice stodgy and even the poppadoms were burnt.Very disappointing.
