Wasabi sushi & grill is only sushi restaurant in BC offering complete Gluten-Free menu.
Don't know what happened...maybe it was a busy Friday?Absolutely disappointed! Rolls were loosely rolled and had more cucumber than the good stuff! Where's the scallops in the scallop roll? Prawn tempura was more like shrimp tempura! Sashimi portions shrunk!Would not go back again.

Had a groupon certificate and decided to try the Fat Tuna. Food was excellent. We started with edamame, spring rolls and assorted tempura. All very well cooked and tasty. Had the viva las vegas roll and it was the best maki I have ever had. Also tried the spider roll which was good as well and filled with fresh crab. Too much food to eat for two of us at dinner. Very reasonably priced. We had asahi beer which was $5.50 a bottle, they had wine for $5 a glass, the tempura was $7, most expensive was the vegas roll at 15 dollars but well worth it. Total for all came to $55, then less the $20 groupon, We cant wait to return and try the terriyaki and other items on the menu. Many to choose from.

Sushi is good, service poor. Ordered special items, repeated several times as she never wrote it down. She of course got it wrong, I accepted after she said she would return it, but this was frustrating. Last time I was there I went to the washroom only to find she had given my table up and there were people sitting at my table when I got to washroom. Very disrespectful ...will not go again. There are slot of good sushi places in Maple Ridge.

Friends ordered from Ebi and I found it very good. We Decided to order for the first time from Ebi. We found it better than before especially when we found we had too much for one meal each. So we enjoyed another meal the next day. Because of this experience we will be enjoying more Japanese menus. One note is that payment of delivery order must be paid by cash or visa. Debit cannot be used.

I met a friend here for a business lunch. The decor has recently been renovated. We were served promptly. Food was fresh and nicely presented. It's in a mall with plenty of free parking. The range of menu choices is large and it's easy to get something small (a plate of rolls) or a mid-sized meal.A telling sign- at noon it filled up quickly and stayed that way until 1:15.

Most of our visits are for take out. We have eaten at many sushi restaurants in the area and would stack Sushi Umibe against ant of them for quality and value. And if you take out your order is always ready at the designated time given.

So many things to choose from on their menu. This can sometimes be challenging for someone who often chooses vegetarian items. No issue here! The Owner is very attentive & you leave knowing that your business is very much appreciated.Great food & great customer service are sometimes a hard combination to find. Not here. Highly recommend

After a light shopping trip in Langley my bff and I wanted sushi, she has been here before and really enjoyed their Creamy Prawn. So off we went via the golden ears bridge. The restaurant is located near the Maple Ridge police station. Upon entry we were greeted right away and were brought to our table with a nice cup of hot tea! Yum yum We ordered the creamy prawns , delicious! Prawns wrapped in possibly Won Ton wrapper with cream cheese then deep fried. Will order this again . The menu has many many different speciality rolls. Recommendations Hot Night Roll. Mango Special roll, both have spicy tuna in it. Also recommend the Golden Bridge Roll (not a spicy roll). Will return to this restaurant. Enjoy

I've been going to sushi tengu for a few years now and I've really never been disappointed. In a town where I frequently see sushi places close down only to reopen under a new name, multiple times, sushi tengu has managed to cement itself as a top Sushi contender in town. My favorite roll is hands down the 'crazy girl roll' which is so good I've actually managed to convert my non sushi eating friends with it. The restaurant has a nice classy feel to it, and the staff are always really friendly and attentive. All in all if you want to stay in town and still eat great sushi, you can't go wrong with sushi tengu.

My wife and I had business in Maple Ridge and decided to take our daughter out for lunch as a combined business and birthday treat. Because the three of us love sushi, it was an easy decision to go to the Shinobi Sushi restaurant again. Our daughter said that it was under new management from the last time we were there but, I am glad to say that it certainly did not disappoint. We arrived at lunch time and the restaurant was busy but the service and food was very quick. We had a combination roll platter and also the Maple Ridge roll, which is to die for. The platter had rolls and sushi done in three's which was just perfect us. I feel that the prices are more than reasonable for the quality and amount of food that you receive. It was well worth the drive out to Maple Ridge and we look forward to having our next lunch at this restaurant.
