We are so familiar with the wonderful wings at the Falkland Pub. We always find a pub with wings on a Wednesday but these were very disappointing. Our server was fine but the wings just didn't cut it.
The newest restaurant on Quadra Island, The Clove deals in pizza, good food and drink with a family-friendly atmosphere and a relaxed vibe. Local beer and refined casual dining; takeout and hangout.
This is the new version of a typical Canadian small-town restaurant (formerly it was 'Lovin' Oven II') which has for many years been a popular lunch and dinner place and very popular for pizza in the evenings. It's a relaxing place to go for a meal, and reasonably priced.

Mobile wood fired pizza. Serving Salmon arm and Shuswap region. Available for private bookings. Authentic wood fired pizza using fresh ingredients and locally made dough.
I absolutely love Fire on Wheels and have frequented this food truck on many different occasions and have never had a bad experience. The menu changes and expands all of the time keeping things interesting. We recently had Fire on Wheels provide the midnight snack at my Son's large wedding and it was a complete hit!! I can't say enough about the food or the friendly service. Highly recommended.

Talk about disappointed. :(We are visiting the area for a few months, and found 2 take-out pizza places within 6 kms of our RV resort. We decided to try Yummie's Pizza as the other one only had 1 review posted. I figured the safest pizza would be the Hawaiian Delight (how can you screw up Hawaiian pizza after all). I should've expected to be let down after calling in and she said it would be ready in 20 minutes. What??!! How do you make --and bake a delicious, FRESH pizza in 20 mins???Well the crust had as much flavor as a piece of cardboard. I don't believe this was a homemade dough. I tasted like bad packaged crust. It was really over-cooked & chewy, but the worst of this was the pizza had NO TASTE to it. We went thru each topping trying to figure out what the issue was with the blandness. The ham (what scant amount there was) tasted more like a low budget salami than ham, and the pineapple had texture of pineapple but 'completely tasteless'. I didn't know it was possible to find pineapple with zero flavor.Their 'cheese blend' tasted like (what I imagine) ground wood shavings would taste like. No idea what this was for cheese, but I've never tasted cheese like this before. The only thing on the pizza with any taste was the tomato sauce, but I didn't pay $40 for two 14" pizzas just to eat the sauce. We wanted pizza, but we both ended up with TERRIBLE STOMACH ACHES all night instead. The 2nd pizza (we ordered to have for the next day) went into the trash bin.SO disappointed. I can't stand those big chain pizza places as I prefer the mom & pop type businesses that REALLY use fresh ingredients. I would NEVER order from here again, and would NOT recommend this business. Please note: This review was for the previous business before we moved into this location. Paradise Pizza has only been in operation since May of 2017. Thank you.

Fantastic service and delicious pizza! Thanks for taking care of us so well and helping my wife with her symptoms. She was feeling pretty awful and you helped bring her back to life! Kids loved the extra care you took to make sure they were happy and we all left full and feeling loved!

We used to order regularly as their 2 pizza price was good value and the pizzas were really quite good. I believe things have changed and the ingredients are of poorer quality and the care and service are also suffering. Disappointing.

Homemade pizza, donairs, wings, salads and more. Open 7 days a week for take out and delivery. Check us out on Facebook.
Ordered 4 large pizzas for pickup for 8 of us. All were ready for pickup in 30 minutes and they were excellent. Lots of toppings and excellent cheeses. Comparable to hansens or bordellos pizza in Kelowna and when I would recommend to anyone.

Boston pizza is a typical go to for us, but this visit was one of the poorer BP experiences for us. Hot wings were not great. Service was so so. Restaurant wasnât the cleanest, nor the bathrooms. Kettle chips were really good, as was bandera bread. Hi, Marcie. We're glad that you enjoyed your Kettle chips and bandera bread, but we're sorry that you were not satisfied with your recent experience. Your feedback is important to us and we'd like to learn more. Please share the details at https://bostonpizza.com/contact-us.html so that we can make it better! Thanks.

Lovin' Oven is a family owned and operated restaurant catering to the locals of the island. Clean, fresh, and simple is the key to our "made from scratch" breads, desserts, pizza dough, sauce, and even the salad dressings. Breakfasts, daily soup, and spec
I have been eating lunch here occasionally since 2000 and it's a typical down-to-earth Canadian small-town restaurant as you can find in every one of Canada's many thousands of small towns. I had the lunch special which was egg salad sandwich and chicken soup. The chicken soup was superb, lots of large chunks of breast-meat chicken in it, and fresh vegetables galore. The egg salad was fresh, plentiful, and tasty in wholesome multi-grain vegetable-bread baked on the premises. Cost was $12.50. Service was fast, friendly, and the place was not crowded but, as usual, was about half-full. Nice one Lovin Oven.

Excellent outdoor seating in 2 areas plus indoor. Heaters outside, and covered. Service was attentive but not fast from the kitchen. Beverages were cold and wet. Salmon burger and caesar salad with chicken was yummy. Portions were decent sized. Parking available. Local fave. Boat access as well.
