During our 3 week vacation in BC and Alaska we visited this place. We got a small table in a quiet corner in the patio. All the food we ordered was good but compared to the portions you get in Italian restaurants in Europe, they were rather small especially compared to the price you pay. Not even a small cookie with our coffee and tea! Their bread is delicious and so was the bottle of rosé wine we ordered.

During my visit to Vancouver my friend proposed a get together with his husband and a friend of ours. He proposed this place because of the Happy Hour. It was very enjoyable. We were well greeted and decided to sit inside. Alena was our server and was top notch. I followed her advice and my choices were great! I had the meatballs and tiramisu. She asked me which size of red wine and picked the 8oz (not on the menu) The price turned out adequate ($8.).My friends were very happy with their visit as well. We only wish that our friend was not so loud...Will return for sure!Thank you for joining us. Alena is one of our superstars and truly loves making sure our guests well looked after. Our hotel concierge made our reservations. We wanted a walkable place and craved Italian. CinCin is on the second floor right on Robson Street. As you walk up the stairs we were greeted by two very friendly and lovely hostesses. We requested a table on the patio (see the picture in the listing) and were seated at a lovely 2-top overlooking the bustling street. The food was amazing! I had a burrata/tomato salad and my husband had a grilled beet salad. We followed these with pasta with bolognese sauce and pork chops all of which were delicious. The service was exceptional (our server's name we forget but he was a young Asian American). We would highly recommend this place!Hi kkovach!Delighted to hear about your wonderful experience. A casual neighbourhood gem serving up contemporary cuisine coupled with ambiance and exceptional service whether it be inside or on the welcoming outdoor patio.A caution for some given the limited menu, while each and every item presented was bold in creativity and flavour and simply put well balanced and memorable on the palate. Worthy of special note were both the Duck Tortellini and the Game Hen that were both truly outstanding and representative of the chef's talent and modernist flare.Definitely worthy of a return visit even if simply only in experiencing the mixologist....

Visited prior a play in west van. The service was phenomenal. Great table taking advantage of the open window on marine drive. Our meals were superb. I enjoyed linguine vongole with tons of clams. Great sauce. The bread is also tasty treat.

This restaurant was recommended to us by Curtis, the concierge at L'Hermitage Hotel and we are grateful that he did so. Located in Vancouver's west end it is just a short cab ride from the downtown hotels. Great atmosphere and great service. We met interesting Vancouver residents at the tables next to us and had some great conversations. We noticed the waiter had remembered what the people seated next to us had ordered the last time they were there.The food was great. Great walnut pesto crostini as an appetizer Pasta was perfectly cooked. Special of the day we were there was a wonderful Albacore tuna. All dishes were well presented and very enjoyable. Nice wine list and interesting cocktails.Make a reservation as this is a very popular restaurant. We didn't, but were lucky to get seated due to a cancellation. We were checking their affiliate restaurant Nook (for pizzas), around the corner when it looked like we couldn't get into Tavola. The Tavola hostess was nice enough to go looking for us when the cancellation came through.

No reservation and god food =long wait, but well worth it. The pizza dough is good and generally in the top quartile of wood oven pizzas. The burrata with prosciutto and a very expensive plate of amazing tomatoes what stood up fo me. Good service, expensive beers

We were with friends who recommended this great Italian restaurant. It was hard to choose from such an excellent range of menu choices which all sounded delicious. The waiters had great advice and were most helpful. Excellent quality and fantastic flavours. You can bring your own wine and pay corkage and this was done without issue. Vesuvio pasta with pork - wow. Smoked duck tagalinni (?) was most memorable. Generous portions and great focaccia and oils as complimentary appetiser. This place should never be empty!

A family birthday party was celebrated on the beautiful upstairs covered patio of Trattoria Park Royal. It was a lovely summer evening and the setting couldn't have been nicer. Staff were pleasant and helpful, accommodating us at a long table and aiding us with our special decorations and requests ... flowers, balloons, etc. They couldn't have been more thoughtful. A 3-course meal was pre-selected. We started with wonderful anti-pasto platters, followed by a pasta assortment, ending with platters of meat, fish and seafood. The table was laden with delicious dishes, and were enjoyed by all. I'll return to this beautiful second floor patio for more delicious Italian fare.
