Every time we have come to The Wee Chippie for lunch or dinner, we have not been disappointed. Their fish is perfectly cooked and the coating is not too heavy, nor too light, and is not greasy. Their tartar sauce, salads, and other sides are good, though we have not tried them all yet. Linda has always been welcoming and friendly when we arrive (which at once every month or two, is not often enough). This is exactly the kind of old-fashioned fish and chip shop that my British-born Gram would have loved. And that is high praise indeed.

We came because my daughter is a big Riverdale fan. It was the perfect stop for lunch as we were driving back to the US. We lucked out and didn't have to wait in line. The booths were big and fit our family of 5 easily. There were many options on the menu from shakes to classic diner fare and poutine. They have a shake in memory of Luke Perry. The food came out quickly and was hot and tasty. My son had the Gladiator and actually finished it all.

I used to LOVE this place! It is a small, local business in the heart of Mission. I am SUPER disappointed to say that it has been losing its "personal" feel. Although I was a regular there, brought friends and family there and always had good things to say about them, I never felt like my business was appreciated. They used to always have a vegetarian soup every day they were open. I used to get a bowl of it every time I would go there on top of my eggs benny breakfast. Then they decided to get rid of bowls and do only cups so more people could get the soup... This doesn't make any sense to me especially as a business. If you want more people to get soup, and your constantly selling out of soup, make more soup? Odd thinking but fair enough. I just got the cup instead and they just didn't make as much money on my order. Weeks went by and things started to get worse and worse. The last time I was in there was the final straw. We went in for our usual breakfast but there was no vegetarian soup ready. We asked when and they said 1:30 pm it would be ready.. They close at 2:30... Odd. We ended up having breakfast and telling them we would be back after 1:30 when the soup was ready. When we came back as we planned, we were not greatly politely. I would assume any other business would be pleased that we were not only spending breakfast there but now giving them our lunch business as well. Instead, we got snotty remarks and crappy soup. The soup tasted like pure cream. No flavor. Worst soup he has ever made. We didnt even complain and we even tipped. Big disappoint when the wonderful small business starts to lose their charm.

Just had dinner here on Friday, I was very pleasantly surprised! The service was excellent, friendly, helpful and attentive. Our came out very quickly and was delicious. I had the fish and chips, one portion of fish is plenty with hot crisp fries, tartar sauce and coleslaw. My husband had the bbq pizza which is cooked in theyâre fancy pizza oven. It looked and tasted delicious. We did walk by the buffet and were very tempted. The food looked very very fresh and nicely presented. We passed as we wanted to try out the menu first. I highly recommend, in fact next time weâll bring out grandkids as itâs child friendly.

I just took my wife out for a late breakfast and had the Brecky Bowl with chorizo sausage. It was delicious and more than I could eat. It was a real delight but it contrasted the coffee that was overly strong and acidic. I had to send the coffee back.

Some restaurants are just a pleasure to dine at. Eleni's has been a standby in Mission forever. The food is consistently good. The decor is pleasant and the service is good. The ribs and spaghetti is as good as it gets anywhere. Portions are good size, and good value. Pasta Tuesdays is a bargain. Drinks are very reasonable here as well (which is rare now days). When we feel like a good meal and don't feel like gambling on wether the food is going to be good, we go here.

Serving up great food made from scratch every morning! Eat-in, take-out and catering available.
This place advertises that it specializes in BBQ. Donât mistake this place for a Smokehouse though, as there is nothing Smoked here.I ordered the Lunch Special, which was your choice of Burger and a Side. I ordered the Chicken Tandoori Burger with Mashed Potatoes as my side. The Tandoori Chicken Burger had a very thin chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, onions, cheese and tandoori sauce. The sauce was very flavourful, which made the burger quite tasty. The chicken breast could have been bigger though. Service and prices were good.

Our group visited Mission Station Grill on the evening of May 25 2019 (Sat) We were seated in the south room near the fireplace stove.I have never experienced a waitress so uninterested or even uninformed as our lady was that evening. On their Menu is Miller Genuine Draft, commonly known as MGD, my girlfriend ordered in this way and all we got was a blank stare and she said she had no idea what we were talking about. She had to have it spelled out for her, MILLER GENUINE DRAFT, And her response was oh.I ordered clam chowder and the prime rib dinner, I had to step away from the table for a few minutes, and to return was my dinner placed at my position.I asked where was the soup???? and I got the deer in the headlights look again, and a response of " well, I can bring it now, did you want it before?" Which really should have been a given.I told her don't bother, as one, there was no room, and most importantly my dinner would have been stone cold by the time the soup would have been consumed. She did not realize that this was a problem, and I told her not to bother. We travel to Vancouver once a year, and this should have been a highlight of our dining, but with her " I couldn't car less attitude" it really did ruin the evening. The food as always was very good, no complaints there, but this individual needs and immediate course and update in the food service industry as her I don't care attitude made for an unpleasant evening. She said she served in Ottawa, and perhaps that is the norm there, but not out west. It was a sad evening! We are so sorry for your experiece with the service. We are looking into this and will do our best to make sure this isn't going to happen again to other groups. Thank you for the review.
