Reviews on Canadian food in Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia, Canada. Harrison Hot Springs is a favorite getaway destination because it’s a lakeside resort atmosphere only two hours from Vancouver, yet it feels like you’re much further away. You’ve got a gorgeous drive through the Fraser Valley to get there, especially if you take the slower and pastoral Hwy 7. You’ve got the charming village of Harrison Hot Springs along the south shore of Harrison Lake with its beaches and promenades, and there are hot springs to enjoy, provincial parks to explore, and mountainous scenery galore.

In Harrison recently for a 3-night stay - the Lakefront Cafe (and their fish & chips), was high on the pre-trip priority list of where we wished to dine out while there. We made it there for lunch, and the dining experience sure made our day!! Itâs such a âcoolâ little place! We (threesome) ordered and shared two helpings of fish & chips, and much-enjoyed soaking in the cool ambiance (= photos on the walls of music and film celebrities from the 60âs & 70âs, etc., early-jazz music playing in the background, and the overall, just âgood, casual feelâ about the place). Our server was the Chef (and owner) â heâs a delight, took good care of us â and as before, worked his magic on what was ordered â the fish & chips were âtheâ best!!Time ran out for us to get back for any more tastes of the offerings there, but we sure enjoyed this recent visit, and look forward to a return soon.

Back for another 3-night stay at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort recently. When booking our reservation, I chose (as I have done so often before) the âBed & Breakfast Packageâ option â room + buffet breakfast each morning in their âLakeside Cafeâ. All was âas usualâ and âgood to goâ until we arrived at the Lakeside Cafe for breakfast the first morning of our stay. What had happened to the breakfast buffet layout!!! Seems there had been a decision to do away with the omelette station!! Everything we had fondly-remembered, and so enjoyed being there, had been totally removed, and had been replaced with a small table offering some cold muffins, sweet rolls, and such. The hot tray offerings, and side table of cold cereals, fruits, and such were still there.Hope those involved in this decision return breakfast in the Lakeside Cafe to what we have so enjoyed over the years.

Harrison Corner Cafe is a great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The dishes are made with local quality ingredients, using seasonal vegetables and fruits. Harrison Corner Cafe is a fully licensed premise, serving wine and beer (bottles and draft). A

Went to Suzy's Cafe twice for breakfast, while in Harrison Hot Springs. Under new management as was formerly Chuck and Kitty's.Extremely friendly staff. Delicious breakfasts each visit. Hot coffee (even made fresh decaf for my husband), with refills offered frequently. If you don't want the toast offered with the breakfast meals you get alternative picks, i.e. tomatoes, fruit. All meals were served hot and together.Prices very good. Kids menu. Colouring books and crayons for the little ones while they waited for meals (great distraction!).Definitely recommend you give this restaurant a try.

Great Pub food, great patio. The view on the patio is lovely. Situated right on the Miami River with a great view of Mount Cheam. The servers are very friendly and after a few visits you will feel like you are at home. The meatloaf is fabulous

Dine and Dance to live entertainment nightly. Enjoy our Ala Carte or Chefs 3 Course menu.
While staying in Harrison Hot Springs some friends and I enjoyed a lovely Saturday night dinner. The dining room is beautiful and elegant. Our server was super friendly and attentive. We all ordered off the Chef Special 4 courses for $48. Dinner was soup or salad, raspberry sorbet, entree and dessert. My friends ordered the tenderloin medallion which looked delicious. I had the pork medallion which unfortunately was rather dry. Everything else was tasty. There was live music and a dance floor in the middle of the room. It was a fun evening with great friends.

Beachfront location with an unobstructed view of the lake from a second floor Patio, with a list of fabulous dishes that suit everyone's needs. Every dish has amazing flavour.
We travel a lot and have been to lots of restaurants in tourist towns. This little restaurant was a delightful surprise. We were there for dinner. The menu was short but creative and the food was exceptional. The service was attentive and very friendly. I suppose some might complain about a wait for the food. For us, it was just very relaxing to be served in a restaurant that did not rush the food at us. One had the sense that there was a real chef in the kitchen paying attention to the food quality and the pacing of the meal. Definitely worth a repeat.

We were staying at the hotel across the street from this pizzeria and so it was very convenient to place a pick up order. The pizza was made and ready to go in a very short time. While is certainly was not a bad pizza it was not outstanding in the ways described in other reviews. If "meh" was a rating that is what I would give it.

We are a family run cafe that uses fresh local produce to create a different dinning experience. From locally roasted coffee to cheeses from the Agassiz farm house. We try to serve that 100 mile menu.
Muddy Waters is a very popular bistro/cafe in Harrison and we now know why.It has a reasonable amount seating indoors as well as on their patio and ample parking available ~ although I'm sure, most people just walk here. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating as well. The food is delicious ~ seems to be all homemade and with very generous portions. You place your own order at the counter and this rainy day, the line-up was almost out the door.We hesitated to go in because of the line-up but the orders were handled quickly by the efficient staff. Our flavourful coffee was ready as we were finding a table and in short order, our yummy meal was delivered to our table.I must say we were surprised to have it plated and presented so nicely ~ not like so many other bistros. The Bison Burger looked quite appetizing but we decided to share one of their ground steak hamburgers with potato and leek soup. The 'burger' was huge with all the trimmings ~ so we made a good choice to share. Both entrees were absolutely delicious ~ it was the best potato~leek soup I have ever had.We even indulged in taking a HUGE slice of coffee cake back to the hotel for a treat.Noticed they do a lot of take-out orders as well ~ seems to be a favourite spot with the local patrons as well as visitors. We can't wait to go back to sample more of their delicious homemade cooking. If you in Harrison Hot Springs ~ you definitely need to go to Muddy Waters Cafe on Esplanade.Kind regards
