Our friend Jonathan highly recommended the Brewhouse to us, especially on Fridays when the prime ribs are on sale at $16.99. Our server (Alisa) was very helpful and even offered to brew me a fresh pot of coffee. The prime rib arrived with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. It was a healthy serving of meat (about 12 ounces) our only complaint is that we ordered medium rare and our order arrived well done. There is ample off street parking. Although the name suggests that this is a public house we noticed the there is signage advising "minors welcome" so I would believe that this establishment is operating under a restaurant license but the decor is designed to resemble a pub.Hi Renegade225,I'm sorry to hear we overcooked your steak, I would love to talk to you more about your experience. If you wouldn't mind following up with me by emailing me at [email protected] or calling me at 780-709-5015 it would be very much appreciated. Thanks,Theo

Moxie's Grill & Bar Richmond, a casual restaurant featuring full menus and bar, near the Vancouver-Blaine Highway and Vancouver International Airport. Open late.
I was staying at the Sandman hotel which this Moxie's in connected to. It's a big restaurant and has a nice "greenhouse" type area with large windows as well as some outdoor seating. But I was just grabbing some food after a long day of travel. I ordered my takeout order at bar. Staff were very friendly. I went with southern fried chicken sandwich. $15 with choice of fries or salad. I got salad. It was ready in about 15 minutes. The sandwich was awesome: great flavor, nice crunch, slaw on top was perfect addition. Hit the spot.Hi jointfilms, we are pleased to be able to provide a take out service especially to those travelling and staying in the hotel with us. I am glad to hear you enjoyed your dinner, we think the souther friend chicken sandwich is great too! We look forward to seeing you on your next visit to town!

I visited this restaurant on a Sunday night as I was staying at the hotel it is attached to. I was expecting a great Steakhouse experienced but was very disappointed. I ordered an escargot appetizer to start. Half way through my appetizer I asked for more small buns for this dish. My server brought the buns but also brought my Prime Rib dinner at the same time. I said I wasn't close to being ready for it. She could obviously see that I was in the middle of my appetizer. My dinner was brought a little later and was the same plate of food brought earlier. It was just brought back to the kitchen earlier and left there. The food was barely warm including the baked potato which should definitely be hot. The Prime Rib was very fatty. I know PR has some fat but this was way too much. The Prime Rib also came with gravy on it. I've never had any restaurant ruin Prime Rib with gravy. This is not mentioned on the menu either. If it was I would have requested to leave it off. My server was very nice but she was inexperienced and not trained properly. She should be monitored better if in training. As things were not going well at all I noticed the manager on duty at the time (wearing a sport shirt and jacket) spent all of his time behind and around the bar joking and talking to the staff only. He seemed particularly interested in spending time with the blond bartender. He never once came to my table which he certainly should have done nor did he visit any other table. No interaction with guests at all. What a waste of a salary. My first time visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. I will go to another restaurant next time.Hi KCJ414. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review on Trip Advisor about your recent experience with us and the clear lack of hospitality you received as well. I was hoping I could speak to you personally about this. Could you kindly email me at [email protected] with your contact information and some appropriate times I could contact you? Alternatively, we can communicate via email if you prefer. I look forward to hearing from you soon.Sincerely,Meaghan Ronaghan

I had no idea this cute pub was just down the hill from the start/finish to the Arbutus Trail into Vancouver. What a great discovery. We enjoyed a great lunch after cycling the pathway. One couple shared generous portions of Korean Short Ribs & Salmon Flatbread. After much indecision, one chose the Halibut tacos & claimed it was the perfect portion as well as delicious. I had the Gunwale chicken wrap which was very tasty, the side salad was fresh& I would order it again. We sat on a very nice sunny patio. It was the perfect ending to a fun ride.

Went there for a quick lunch. Had to watch two servers standing around chatting while ignoring me. When a server did finally show up, the attitude left me cold...something like my lunch which was supposed to be heated. It was my first visit in 5 years and my last one for sure. We're sorry if any of our staff seemed inattentive with you on your visit and did not get the quality of service you were to meet your expectations. Our staff is usually very outgoing and friendly. We appreciate all comments and will be looking into this with the staff on schedule at the time. We do wish you come back and try us again in the future.

Attended a get together with about thirty others. Staff took good care of us and were very accommodating...the snack for we had was good and plentiful. Parking was free across the street although we had to be careful which spots were could use. The food off the menu looked good....will try and get back as itâs not in my neighbourhood.

Every day for over 35 years, Mr. Harold Cross has been coming to our place for lunch. In fact, you may see him sitting at his usual spot by the window, greeting everyone by name, sharing a laugh and offering a warm smile. Our biggest fan and one of the ni
Our experience is that the service is best for the buffet breakfast however the lounge is more comfortable during the evening hours (that is if there aren't any drunks around). The patio in the summer months is popular however we were enjoying dinner in the dining room when a parade of about 18 construction workers (just off from work) trampled past us (within 2 feet) in their work clothes and hard hats still reeking with sweat enroute to the patio which totally spoiled the atmosphere for us as well as tourists. It would be nice if Shelly (manager) realized that it is impossible to cater to the construction workers (when attired directly from work) and hotel guests.
