Forester's is the perfect location for a relaxing meal with friends and family, not just for golfers unwinding after a day on the links. Our menu of clubhouse classics and contemporary West Coast cuisine has something to please everyone. Enjoy the peace o
My wife's cousins who live in Colwood took us here for lunch -- they said it was their favorite spot. I had the halibut ban mi (excellent although not very Vietnamese-tasting) and my wife had the seafood chowder. Given the glorious view, great service and food, it was a delightful experience.

We had lunch at Axe & Barrel with my brother-in-law and his grown sons. They offer good solid pub grub here. The food was really tasty, the portions were substantial and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely be back next time we're on Vancouver Island.

Rich leather seating sets the tone for Masters Lounge. With service for 60, Masters offers a relaxed ambiance required for winding down after an extended meeting or a day on the course. Sip a signature cocktail or pint of local craft beer with a light sna
Took some out-of-town friends here for drinks on the patio on a beautiful day, great views, very pleasant, had some wings which were very good, a guitarist was playing out on the deck, he was excellent, our waitress Lola, was outstanding, her personality, and attention made our time even better! We'll be back!

I don't want to get down on these guys. They were friendly, service was good, and the place was clean. That's 3 ticks... but the food was just so (unfortunately) unremarkable. We really had high hopes that we could make this joint our new go-to for steak on the westshore but things didn't work out that way. Pub fare was what you should expect for the price. It's a good place to grab a couple beers and watch a game, but maybe don't bring the inlaws around for a nice dinner.

Historic pub and restaurant nestled beside Goldstream Campground and the E&N trail. Families welcome with children. Pub-fare, kids menu, gluten friendly and vegan options. Breakfast every Saturday & Sunday. Ten taps of local craft beer and domestic favour
We happened in on the special for tonight. It was roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, vegetables, gravy and horseradish. The Yorkshire pudding was ridiculously large. I had to ask for extra gravy. This is a great Old Pub that's off the beaten path and worth the drive, A Hidden Gem for sure. They have great specials and live music, a patio and so much more.

Burgers, sandwiches, salads, and a whole lot of sharable starters - we serve up comfort food with an original twist. And since we believe you can never have too much of a good thing, every entrée comes with your choice of two sides. But food isn't the onl
$17 for a burger with a few fries and vegetables. Tasty food is filling but some items are pricey. Busy sports bar atmosphere . Very clean, plenty of parking.

Located just off of Highway 1 and near the Royal Colwood Golf Club, Browns Socialhouse Langford is quickly gaining attention as the place to socialize in Langford. Come on down and enjoy the Socialhouse experience... Island style!
Quite spontaneously, my wife and I decided to have brunch at Browns Socialhouse. We have been there on many occasions, mainly for dinner, and have had good experiences. Sad to say, this was anything but good! Our server was brusque, to the point of being rude. I ordered Eggs Benedict with prosciutto. My wife ordered Corn Beef hash. The eggs in my wifeâs meal were over cooked. My wife pointed this out to our server, who begrudgingly took the meal back to the kitchen. When it was returned, my wifeâs meal was cold. Again, she pointed this out to our server. The response was terse and limited to â... weâll microwave it...â At this point, my wife had had enough and declined this option. She ate what she could of her meal. When the server brought the bill, I asked if they had deducted the price of my wifeâs meal. The response (which was almost unintelligible) was that a 25% discount had been applied. We were so unhappy with our experience, that I did not challenge the discount, paid the bill (minus a tip!) and left.

Did two orders through Skipthedishes in the past week. Prices have really climbed. Quality from the kitchen has really dropped. Both orders had quality issues.First order had a penne chicken dish and the chicken was burnt when it was cooked.Second order had three lobster sliders ($18) and one of the sliders was 1/2 the size of the other two and had about a teaspoon of lobster mix where both the other two had about 1 1/2 tablespoons of mix. Very disappointing. Also, on the second order, had the spinach & artichoke Dip and the tortilla chips were VERY STALE. I threw them out and got some of my own from the cupboard. All in all - the quality on the two orders was very poor.Until quality improves I cannot recommend Milestones at this time.Hi Lyle, we are very sorry for the meals you received. We want to have this looked into. Please fill out our short form at reviews.milestonessurvey.com and reference 52371003-LS. We hope to hear from you soon.

Usually the food here is pretty good. I ordered the Jackâs Homemade Cheeseburger with Fries. The Burger came with the usual Lettuce and Tomato, Pickle, Onion, Burger Sauce, Cheese and Onion Rings on top.The Bun was toasted. The Beef Patty was too mushy. It broke apart too easily. The Burger Sauce was nothing special. The most annoying thing about this Burger was the giant greasy Onion Rings on top. They were so big and greasy, that you couldnât properly taste the Beef Patty. They should do away with putting them on top of the Burger, or just do away with them completely. The Fries were nice and crispy. I have enjoyed other items on the menu at Jackâs, but this Burger was just ok. Service was good and prices were reasonable.

This is a older pub thatâs gone through a couple of incarnations and is a little rough around the edges but the food is great from the appetizers to the main courses (the deep fried pickles are awesome!). Weâve always had great and friendly service but tables may be a little hard to find most nights as the place fills up pretty quickly so get there early.
