Find out what American restaurants to try in Vancouver. Canada's largest metropolis, Vancouver is a city of varied landscapes and diverse population. Its mix of the scenic and urban mean that weekenders can spend the morning taking advantage of its beaches, ski mountains, and hiking trails, only to kick back in the evening at first-rate restaurants and wine bars among a labyrinth of skyscrapers. As friendly and welcoming as it is ethnically diverse, the streets are crowded with different languages being spoken everywhere, and the city's sights, sounds, and flavors are a hodgepodge of warm multiculturalism. It is a haven both for the urbanite and the sportsman, offering all the sophistication of a modern city center, with a strong focus on the arts and a burgeoning cafe culture, but with charming suburban outlets and easy outdoor day trips. Though the city is often split into three districts, Vancouver and its surrounding environs feature multiple neighbourhoods, each with their own character and draw, in one massive conglomeration. Take your time and explore as many of them as possible.

My wife and I went into this restaurant institution for dinner. We have not been here for awhile. We wanted a reasonable price and good food and that is what we got. My wife had the Chicken sandwich with fries and I had the veggie, egg and potato scramble. Both were yummy, tasty, and fresh ingredients. Service was friendly, attentive and helpful.

This restaurant never fails to impress, from their attentive service to the beautifully presented dishes, notably seafood, yet also steaks and other meats and a few vegan items.love the atmosphere, always humming. Best to arrive early for happy hour, or long wait, have left twice to go somewhere else after arriving one hour into happy hour. Reservations required for dinner. The roof top patio is amazing, my favourite little oasis.

Cora Breakfast and lunch is the place to go for delicious breakfast selections. The prices are great, service good, and food is excellent. We enjoyed our breakfast so much the first time that we returned a couple days later to try something else. The food is fresh and served hot right from the kitchen. The decor is fun too!

We had a spicy pulled pork potato hash and waffles for our breakfast. They were big portions, freshly cooked and we really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. It was especially nice to have someone provide coffee the moment we sat down and then come round and check if we wanted more coffee. If you want a diner experience for breakfast , Iâd recommendIt.

Cactus Club Cafeâs (CCC) location, ambience, food, drinks and good looking staff who provide friendly service is a fine way to end our vacation. We truly enjoyed our last dinner in Vancouver with good drinks, delicious chicken tenders (prime juicy pieces) with French Fries and crunchy but not dry chicken wings with celery sticks. Our food was of excellent quality and of adequate portions. This CCC has high ceilings, beautiful harbor views and nicely lit Cauldron. Its bathroom are unique.Thank you for taking the time to write a review Elsa! We take great pride in offering mouthwatering menu items, flawless service and unbeatable views of the Harbour. We are ecstatic to hear all of this was reflected during your visit with us today! We look forward to seeing you again! Best,DanielleManager

I only write reviews when they deserve to be written, great or poor. This was great. T'was the evening before our 50th anniversary. Ate in the lounge. Noisy, urban, electronica, fun. Couldn't have asked for better table service - attentive without being intrusive. Good beers, even better food - ahi tuna club (more flavors than you could handle, none overpowering); Roasted peanut curry noodle bowl (prawns, peppers, broth, nuts,.noodles - great textures and flavors); Italian donuts and molten chocolate cake for deserts - over the top. Reasonably priced for the quality/quantity.Audessa was our waitress. A pure pleasure, five star personality, and a damn good waitress. davegettinoldbnd, Thank you for choosing JOEY Burrard for your pre anniversary dinner. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your experience with us. We will be sure to share this wonderful feedback with the team and acknowledge Audessa for her hospitality. Thank you and I hope that you drop in again soon.Sincerely,Darnell HochsteinGeneral ManagerJOEY Manager

An American style steakhouse and cocktail bar featuring tender steaks and stiff drinks. Gotham features soaring ceilings, sumptuous leather and velvet upholstery, private dining rooms, an award-winning wine list and exceptional service.
Good steakhouses are everywhere in big cities now and almost all are 4.5 on here so hard to differentiate I reckon! This was good. Steaks were done perfectly. Service was a bit slow at times but not to complain about - welcome at the door was excellent! Pricey though as most of these places are - $400 for 2 adults and a 12 year old is not cheap - but thatâs standard for places like this now!Would recommend but due to extensive choice available I probably wouldnât go again. Too much choose.
