After attending the parade and the displays it was time for lunch. Rickys was close by so we went. The menu had lots in it and we all found something to eat. Pulled pork, chicken pesto sandwich, caesar salad with shrimp and pesto shrimp for the granddaughter. Ww all enjoyed our meals and the service was very pleasant and good as well.

We had difficult finding this place in Courtenay because there no signs that helped to find it easily at its location at Chances casino. Small casino but fun & we had a nice meal at this place. Food was delicious & good atmosphere. We were glad that our friends recommended it. We do the same. Will even let you bring underage children into the place - unlike many others. would go there again.

We have frequented the Red21 and have always had a good meal and love the homemade soups! For the meat lovers a favourite appy is their lollipop ribs or a must have is the prime rib dinner, a real winner. The best is the great staff, we have always been greeted and treated well.

A little known gem on the highway 19A just a few miles North of Courtenay BC. Well stocked grocery shopping with parking for any size vehicle. We stopped to meet friends and were treated to a home cooked meal. The dinner with desert and coffee was very reasonable. The service was personal. The food just like mother used to cook it. I have no problem recommending this business to any travelers no matter what your station in life is.

Plates Eatery is a modern full service, family friendly, casual dining spot open for breakfast and lunch 7 days a week from 7 am to 3 pm. Every Thursday night offering our famous Roast Beef and Yorkshire buffet. (From 4:30pm) Our menus (including prices)
Wow, was I fooled. I thought the Plates, meant individual dishes offered and upon entering into the establishment for the first time realized it was a licence plates. It was so neat to see the many different ones from all over the country. Anyway, we were met and seated quite quickly, and ordered their all day breakfast plate. The food was really good and the portions a good size. Would definitely go back, very nice ambiance.

Come savor an appetizing meal at Prime Chop House & Wine Bar. They are open nightly all week and are readily accessible by car. The neighboring area is remarkable for its parks. Payments by gift certificates are recognized.
This restaurant has one of the nicest decors in the Comox Valley. Just on impulse we decided to go for their advertised 2 for 1 burgers. We were not disappointed. They were excellent and very filling. The wait staff were very friendly and our waiter was very attentive. Also we got in on Happy Hour so enjoyed a glass of wine for half the price. I would recommend this restaurant.

Michael's Off Main Breakfast Lunch & Cheesecake has been serving Courtenay and the Comox Valley for over 16 years. We are known for our friendly staff and the best Eggs Benedict, as well as for our home-made Hollandaise sauce at amazing prices. Customers
What a great way to spend a Saturday morning. Having breakfast with friends.Eggs Benny, multiple versions, 5 out of 7 of us had it. Huevos Rancheros, daily special and a bacon and cheese omelette with sausage. The hollandaise sauce was buttery and smooth. Hashbrowns were golden and delicious, the ham was from Tannadice Farm, which is local. (We drove to the farm and purchased pork, beef and chicken directly from them).

Went for lunch here, mainly on the strength of TripAdvisor's overall ratings. Perhaps I should have looked more closely and seen the higher ratings are for breakfast, rather than the rest of the day.In any event, the sandwich was fresh and tasty, and the salad ok

Consistently good spot to eat. We ordered a lamb burger and jambalaya. The lamb burger was juicy flavorful and great value for your money. The jambalaya was disappointing, it should have been filled with lots of sausage shrimp but was mostly peppers and a few of the meats. Ordered medium spicy and unfortunately it just tasted like it had a hot sauce on the whole dish. It was served over rice. The waitress was very informative about the specials and the service was fairly good. We will go back, just won't have the jambalaya.
