Kingsford Smith Motel offers expert customer service, high quality and comfortable rooms as well as all the nearby restaurants, bars and shops near the picturesque portside wharf, not to forget the Eat Street Markets and Eagle farm racing. We are here to accommodate you the best way we can. We offer 24 hour check in service and a free shuttle to drop you off at the airport and also to the cruise terminal.
Outstanding attention to detail and service! Very pleasantly surprised at the extremely good value and yet the quality of accommodation was fantastic. Despite being on a very busy road the rooms were very quiet and we could not hear the road noise at all. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, and could not have done more to make us feel welcome despite being fully booked for the weekend. Would highly recommend this motel and would definitely stay again!

A Small motel situated pretty much in in the Cbd of Brisbane it is close to Roma Street station but please be careful you have to follow the instructions of the GPS otherwise you may get lost the rooms are very small however I found them comfortable and relaxing. It is a good hotel to spend one night or tonight if you’re in a hurry or you don’t want to get into the hassles of Brisbane rooms are very small however as I said for a couple of nights there a good state it is also close to the station which adds a lot of value and the receptionist lady was really good good. As I checked in the early she help me in accommodating by checking in early and she explained all the instructions nicely Wi-Fi quality was good but I have basic model who does the job for a couple of nights

The family operated Chermside Motor Inn is located in the middle of Chermside located on the north bound side of Gympie road between Rode and Hamilton Roads. The Chermside Motor Inn is less than 1 km from both the Prince Charles and Holy Spirit hospitals. The Chermside Motor Inn provides friendly and well-equipped accommodation, the ideal place for an overnight stay or that extended getaway. With 22 rooms (Queen, Twin & Family), set out in spacious surrounds and five excellent cafes within 200 meters and two Clubs within 10 minutes’ walk, the Chermside Motor Inn is a great choice in valued accommodation and an excellent place to rest your head in Brisbane’s Northern suburbs.
Great motel with convenient location to shops and Northside hospitals. Plenty of parking in front of rooms. Rooms are clean and well presently. Motel is a little older but that is reflective in cost of rooms. Would defiantly stay again without hesitation as everything is close. Room also had a kettle, toaster and microwave, along with complimentary tea, coffee, milk & biscuits.

Centrally located, affordable comfort on the city's doorstep. We have a range of motel rooms (double or twin rooms with en suite), studio apartments (with limited cooking facilities and en suite) and terrace houses (fully self-contained). Close to bus/train transport, Royal Brisbane Hospital, RNA showgrounds, Chinatown and only a 30 minute walk into the CBD. Free-call taxi phone in reception.
My wife and I stayed for two nights while I had a procedure at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. We arrived and parked in the driveway which is blocked by an electric sliding gate. There is no intercom to contact reception which is inside the premises. After circumnavigating the site we rang reception and they opened the electric gate. Reception was straightforward and we were given a room key that has a tag to operate the electric gate. There is no way to access reception without the electronic tag to operate the gate. We were given a room on the 2nd floor and found the stairway near reception difficult to navigate with luggage. I have reviewed Qld Workcover standards for stairways and I do not believe this stairway complies. It is steep, the steps are short, and the handrail does not have 50mm clearance between the rail and the adjacent structure near the top of one flight causing my hand to jam. The timed lighting for the stairwell does not come on until after dusk creating a further hazard. The room was clean but very tired. The bed was one of the least comfortable hotel beds I have slept on in over a decade. On the second night the premises was extremely noisy with what sounded like a trolley waking my wife and I. Our room was not serviced for our second day. Coffee and tea supplies were not replenished. There is no restaurant facilities on site and no information in the rooms on nearby eateries or convenience stores. Brochures at reception were out of date with one mentioning a discount that expired in 2019. Thank god for Tripadvisor. I could go on but I guess I have made it clear this was an unsatisfactory stay.

I only give one star reviews when it is ESPECIALLY bad. Showed up for my booking at around 9.30pm as I had a 6am flight the next morning. Went to the room and it hadn't been cleaned, stunk of cigarettes, towels all over the floor, unmade bed, the place was a mess. Went to reception, where I was told there were no more rooms and I'd have to try and find something else close by. OR, it was also suggested to try one of the rain damaged rooms without carpet. I said "Mate I made the booking weeks ago" and the response was "We only received the booking on Wednesday". HAHAHA, yeh right so three days isn't enough to clean a room then. When I, quite rightfully complained about the situation, I was told "Look, I've said sorry and things happen in life. How you respond to them is up to you". Not only is it an absolute dump of a place, there is zero customer service as well. Spent the next hour and a half driving around trying to find somewhere else to stay, wonderful night I had. Thanks Wayne. AVOID.

Ideally located with easy walking distance of Eagle Farm & Doomben Race Tracks, Portside Cruise Terminal,Riverside Restaurants & Cafes. Stroll down to the river to access ferry terminal to City Center & Southbank Park lands. Close proximity to Domestic & International airports & Discount Outlet Factory Shopping.
We recently had a trip planned but could not attend due to road closures which turned out to be a minor part of the debacle. A day prior contact was made with Pegasus to be told for the first of many tmes they would 'speak to management & advise' Another issue, T&Cs state you will be contacted 7 days in advance to advise Credit Card being charged .... no contct made & card charged without consultation - intention was to pay for rooms on each parties card .... again, refer to Managment Long story short .... 3 Families who have used Pegasus before bur will no longer use or recommend it. Understand there are T&C's but definitely no Customer Service .... still waiting for those return calls !!

The floor maybe softer than the bed…. With everywhere else booked I had a last minute booking into this hotel. I only need a bed and shower, sadly not fitting in either (I’m 198cm). The bed was clean but after 5hrs of painful, light sleep I gave up. The mattress was rock hard and either on my side or back was painful! The 2 stars were for the friendly staff checking me in.

Comfortable room in a very handy location on Kessell’s road, rooms were clean and a reasonable size, surprisingly quiet for the location. Plenty of space to park your car and a good size park for walking or other activities

A new and clean building with good trees and gardens, good parking, handy to rail, small but clean rooms. If the towels weren't like c grade sheets of canvas this would have a higher rating. Don't understand what the 'international' means, it's not really more than a nice local motel.
