Located in Brinas, La Rioja, just a few minutes away from the Barrio de la Estación and its 7 century-old wineries, it's the perfect spot to delve into the passionate world of wine, culture, and history
There is no doubt, this hotel really is lovely, a beautiful location by the river in a quiet village. A stunning, sympathetic restoration with modern, contemporary touches. The food was excellent - presentation, flavour and choice all superb! Sadly, they need to invest in more staff and customer service training - even though the hotel was not busy, we were regularly kept waiting at reception, at breakfast and at the bar and on several occasions, received an unwelcoming response. However, it is soon to be part of the Marriott Group and perhaps this will improve?

Our stay here was last-minute, as the Parador we had booked was in a town which was completely sealed off due to Covid with one day’s notice. We were driving from Costa Brava to the ferry at Bilbao. What a pleasant surprise! The GR99 walking route passes through the village, which is on this beautiful stretch of the Ebro river. We had a lovely stroll on arrival and again before we left. Our room was enormous, very quiet, with a super-king size bed (180cms) lovely luxurious bed linen and a large bathroom. The measures in place for Covid were excellent, with a sterilising machine for the room key, glass bottles for water which you take and fill yourself from a cooling machine, a dispenser for disinfectant, etc. Excellent value for money, and a super, copious breakfast. We felt very safe, and well looked after. Thankyou!

A lovely hotel in a very quiet tiny village in the wine region Rioja. Soak up the feeling of the pilgrims of the Camino while having great opportunities for a wine tasting. Fascinating variety for all the people who are looking for some deceleration

What a find! This new-ish hotel sits in Brinas, just a few miles north of Haro. What it lacks in location amenities, it more than makes up for in other areas. The front desk clerk, while struggling with limited English, was extremely gracious in showing us around the property, when we first arrived. We immediately tried out the pool, which was great. There was a glass of 'welcome wine' for each of us upon arrival. the grounds were spotless, as was our spacious room. Everything is new, clean, classy and comfortable. There is a small pool table downstairs, along with a fully-stocked honor bar and snack area. Our room was VERY quiet and parking was within the gated property, so very safe. If you're exploring La Rioja via car and want to stay in the general Haro region, I strongly recommend considering Finca Torre.

Fantastic hotel in a slightly elevated position nestled in the heart of the Rioja region. Hotel easy to find and had plenty of free parking. The hotel had a quirky rustic feel so if you’re into the faceless corporate hotels that are all mirrors and marble, this is not the place for you. Rooms are spacious with private balconies which overlook vineyards and countryside, and are set around the Large circular wooden atrium. Hotel itself was very clean. Room comfort was good, and the showers had excellent water pressure (sorry but this is a personal “ism” of mine as love power showers and am frequently disappointed when some hotels provide a shower which just dribbles out!). Toiletries were provided and the towels were nice, not just a flimsy bit of fabric! All staff I encountered were polite and spoke English which was great for me as my Spanish is virtually non existent. The hotel has a great restaurant which offers a fixed price 3 course meal (priced at €12 pp). This included a bottle of wine and 1.5L bottle of water. The portions were large and I probably should have stopped after my spaghetti starter, but it was all so nice, I just kept going! I originally chose this hotel for an overnight stay as was driving from Portugal and was heading for Bilbao for a ferry back to the UK so this hotel is well placed for that. Will definitely stay here again, even if I am not travelling via Bilbao or Santander just for the relaxing setting alone. I think the hotel had WiFi, but didn’t use it as have plenty of data allowance myself.
