Things to do in Taylors Lakes
We have been visiting Sharma's on a regular basis ever since we have moved to Australia a few months ago.Missing home food, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that we could get authentic sarson ki saag (spinach ) with corn bread as well as chole bhatura(chickpeas + nice roti)Also have been having their butter chicken and other regular Indian dishes on several occasions. They have been good consistently and good in pricing, quality and quantity.Good lassi and good masala teaThey have great Indian sweets and savory snacks Great tandoori too!Sharma's have become a place for our weekly family outing
Very busy Indian restaurant with nice decor. Staff are young, polite but some speak a little English so you may not be understood if you ask a specific question. The portion sizes are on the small size, so I would recommend ordering a bit more. The food itself is very tasty and always gets eaten. Just wish it was a bit more reasonably priced and we would visit more often!
The service here was awesome, friendly and truly local. I've driven past many times and have been guilty of judging it by what it looks like from the outside. But this place is so much more than your average take-away joint.Inside, the decor is quite inviting and warm. Chairs are comfortable and the atmosphere is nice and quiet. We had the lamb rogan josh and the butter chicken, cheese and garlic naan bread. And we were given complimentary Mango ice cream! (Pistachios Kulfi). So glad I stopped in for dinner, food was great and cost was within reason for the type and quality of food.

After a quick Google search, I thought I'd give Clove a try. We love our Indian food but it's hard to find a really good one. We've finally found the one!! We ordered a takeaway which consisted of the non veg entree and Punjabi style butter chicken. Both were absolutely delicious! They tasted fresh and the perfect amount of spice. We'll definitely be back!

We got here for a family dinner. The ambience and decor was pleasing. The service staff was helpful and accommodating. However the main concern is the food. Gobi manchurian tasted like battered cauliflower in tomato ketchup and seasoning. There were no chopped capsicum, onions, scallions as there would usually be in this dish. The mixed tandoori platter had dry chicken pieces already tandoored and microwaved. Nothing wrong with the marination but the technique adopted was shortcut. The chef came out and apologised but also tried to justify that he's has had compliments from another big table that the food was fantastic and apparently that table had Indian chefs. I would suggest going somewhere else unless you want to try take out.

1 of 5 restaurants in Victoria with 4 in Melbourne and a new location in Shepparton. My second visit of which I was not disappointed again.Indian decor throughout and music videos continually played on a large screen.Service was quick but there is a bit of a language barrier with the waiters again.A lot of different Indian and Indo-Chinese food to choose from including vegetarian at reasonable prices. You can also choose the level of curry and chilli.

A little off the beaten track but worth the effort to find this place. Friendly efficient service and quality authentic Indian food. Wide-ranging menu with plenty of vegetarian options. Gobi Manchuri always a highlight here. Also serve a range of lassis and Indian ice cream. Highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for authentic delicious Indian food.
