Hooper's is a casual 48 seat seafood restaurant attached to our fresh fish market. Friendly smiling faces, great seafood and a quaint nautically themed café await you when you chose to dine with us. A BYOB, we are open seasonally from March through September.
Cozy spot in Brigantine for an unfussy expertly prepared seafood meal. Expect a simple but delicious menu, good prices and great service.

Aversa is a very nice, pleasant and clean establishment in Brigantine, just across from Atlantic City. You have to cross the bridge to get there. I have been there several times and the service is very friendly. The pastries, as well as the breads are made fresh daily and it is difficult to choose from the great variety. We particularly enjoy the small torpedo bread rolls. They are just the right size for sandwiches. They also have another Aversa's near Atlantic City on 9309 Ventnor Ave. in Margate. It is a smaller bakery, not as much variety but still very good. They used to have prepared food at that location. We loved the meat lasagna, but as of late, only had the vegetarian one. At Brigantine however, we actually asked the worker on duty one day about the meat lasagna and was told that we could order one for pick up and we did. They offered a full tray at about $80.00 and a half tray at $40.00 something. It was really good. Not sure if they still offer this service. This is one of our favorite stops.

Small breakfast and lunch café. The food was tasty and served in an attractive way. It was a nice way to start the day.

I've never had anything other than ice cream, but it's so good. They have legit flavors, and from what I've read, they get their cream from a local farm (I hope that's true Aunt B's!). Anyway, their chocolate peanut butter is my favorite, and a small size is a nice heap of the good stuff for just around $4. They are cash-only, and very seasonal (May-Sept). But it's worth the trip, there's always a line, so I'd recommend a walk on a nice evening.

Right at the very end of the main drag this little restaurant changed hands a couple of years ago. The menu is more diner like than breakfast / lunch menu . The dinner menu looks inviting., but our breakfasts were only ok. Eggs Benny and...MoreThank you for your response. We apologize that the service you received was not 5 star service. we hope you will give us another try to serve you 5 star service.

The weather this May week has not exactly been ice cream weather - cool, rainy and very windy. It is the only excuse I have to offer. Today my wife and I stopped at Richman's for ice cream cones because tomorrow we are gone. We both got small cones -death by chocolate for her, moose tracks for me. $4 plus tax. Then the cones came. Each cone was gigantic holding what looked like 3+ scoops of very good ice cream. We like ice cream and have had it in many places, many of which charge alot more for alot less. The place is clean, the staff friendly and knowledgeable and there are many places to sit and enjoy your ice ceam. They have burgers and hot dogs too. Do yourself a favor and come to Richman's early in your stay and visit often.

As a former "Road Warrior" with over 30 years traveling for business, both domestically and internationally as well as being a top 1% reviewer for Trip Advisor, I would rate White House Subs, THE BEST EVER !!!
QUICK SUMMARY
SIZE
At least 18", might even be longer, they are GIGANTIC! At least 6" LONGER than Jersey Mike's, another NJ Sub shop, but no where near the quality of White House Subs.
PRICE/VALUE
Better Value than anywhere else, Bigger, Better Quality & More Meat !
SERVICE
They are "Top Quality People", just like their Food. They do NJ proud, and give NJ a good name. As a NJ native, and back after 40 years, it's nice to have such a GREAT experience and one that will give a VERY POSITIVE view of NJ and it's people.
TIPS FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE
ORDERING TIP
Order ahead, to beat the lines. We called our order in and by time we got to the place, order was done.
We just walked past the long line to the back of the place to pick up area and walked out in about 3 minutes.
Place is small, tight and always a line, as well a hard to find a parking space.
PARKING TIP
Park in Bass Pro Shop Lot across the street. They give 1 hour free, just go in and buy a soda and they validate, so no parking problem anymore. Nice quiet place to eat your lunch.
NOTE
Taking (6) 18" Subs back to North Carolina, we love them so much. I brought a 48 gallon cooler just for White House Subs.

Just found this little gem and it is a real treat. really good breakfast at a great price. All the usual favorites and a couple of different selections make this a must, while on Brigantine Island. A family run joint that is doing things right.

We visited Ernest's at there new location in Linwood. The Brigantine Deli just opened in the new food Exchange on Rt. 9 in Linwood NJ and offered quite an array of sandwiches and subs. I had Cheeseburger Sub which was good and reasonably priced. The staff were terrific. I'll be back.
