We are a family-owned restaurant, where you are welcome in a year old house. We are directly situated at the Simplonstrasse, where you can meet us during your trip to the top of the Simplonpass. We are open in the winter and the summer. In the summer we a
Lunchtime and we were looking a place to eat. There are not many restaurants on the Simplonpass, on the way driving downhill before reaching Brig we found this one. Classic Alpine restaurant with outdoor seating at the back (no street view, phew!) with a lunch proposal of 19,80 francs for a salad (OK portioned) and a cordon bleu (made at the moment) with fries. They were OK, just too oily fried for me. Service was polite and efficient. Clean toilets inside upstairs. Children playground. Carpark.

This restaurant is a very good option from whoever is going to or from Zermatt or Saasfee. Other than the food there is delicious, we had a schnitzel that was fabulous, there is also a very good playground area outside of the kids can play freely.I really do recommend this restaurant.

Histrian the restaurant in the middle of the Old Town of Brig connected with the famous Stockalperpalast 2 Kitchen Concepts Schlosspinta - güöti Choscht ver Lit va here The cellar of the castle restaurant to Schlosspinta. "Güöti Choscht ver Lit va here!"
This is a lovely restaurant in an ancient building - super terrace and friendly, helpful staff. This is supposedly the best restaurant in Brig, but I found the food quite unmemorable, nothing wrong with it, but nothing to rave about.Talk about raving, the prices were crazy and our 2 course meal and a couple of drinks came to 150 Swiss francs - so our overnight stop in Brig cost me 190 francs for the hotel + 150 francs for dinner = 340 francs - no we won't be back !

It's ituated in Brig historic area, close to Stockalper Palace. The interior is nice though a bit classic. The staff is kind. The food is clearly Italian and yummy. The risotto is very good. Fine selection of wineNo doubt a good choiceDear Luiz44Thank you for your feedback !!

Just back from dinner there with wife and son. I had lamb with risotto, wife had beef stroganoff and son had veal sausage with rosti. And Miss Italia pizza to share among us. They were very delicious and appetising, especially with added chilli oil. The cheese risotto was salty however but with chilli oil, taste less salty. Service by waitress was friendly and efficient.

The best decision we made for supper this far on holiday.Warm atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff.Food prepared with care and delivered quickly to our table. The portions are big and filling. If in Brig, this is the restaurant to go to.

Had dinner here as part of our organized tour, and it didn't disappoint--a delicious beef main with a wonderful red wine sauce--truly melt in your mouth. The pineapple ravioli stuffed with marscapone was one of the most memorable desserts I've ever had. Clearly the chefs have incredible skills and the staff worked incredibly hard to serve our large group at the same time. Highly recommend!Dear BlndgenieFirst of all, we would like to thank you for having taken the time to share your experience at our Restaurant les Cheminots with the TripAvisor community. It is always a pleasure to receive positive feedback. I will share your comments with our team and our Chef Cook Patric Winkler, who I am certain will be encouraged by your remarks !Looking forward to the pleasure of welcoming you back soon to our Hotel Ambassador and Restaurant Les Cheminots. Sincerely, Sébastien Martre

Welcoming guests from all over the world at our chalet in the middle of the heart of the old town in Brig gives us great joy everyday. Great traditional food and drinks at a fair without frills has been our guiding principals at Steakhouse Eidgenossen for
Nice to sit out on the square. It was busy outside but service was good.I ate an excellent pork with cream/mushrooms served with pasta. My partner had the mixed grill. Both dishes were great, we followed up with ice-cream and a less than impressive cheeseboard. All in all an excellent evening, but skip the cheeseboard.Expensive to us but about average by Swiss standards.
