Had a queen refurbed room and it was spotless! Curtains are black out. Facilities of pool, steam room, sauna and gym were really good! Have to book slots but staff were flexible around timings if quiet. Staff friendly and always happy to help. Refurb in place but didn’t affect us and it was made clear throughout. Jacuzzi is closed but you are advised upon booking. Restaurant menu is pants but the bar menu is much better. Bridgend is worth a visit near by for nightlife and a Italian restaurant called colosseo. The riverside walk near by is well worth a visit! If you go along and then down the steps to the walk there’s ducks and beautiful views. The four waterfalls are 50 minute drive away but very worth a visit. Breakfast is expensive but McDonald’s is round the corner! I think you may be a bit disappointed if you got one of the non refurbed rooms. Would advise closing until refurb is fully complete to get it done quicker. Lovely stay thank you

A night on the tiles or a day at the beach? It's all on offer at Premier Inn Hotel Bridgend Central. In a central location with great nearby transport links, you'll be well placed to zip off and explore business and leisure destinations around Cardiff and South Wales. Catch the main event at one of Cardiff's stadiums. Grab a bucket and spade at Porthcawl Beach, or a designer bargain at Bridgend Designer Outlet. Or if it's the right time of year, worship the King at the Porthcawl Elvis Festival. Then relax with a tasty meal at the restaurant next to us and a great night's sleep in your extra-comfy bed.
Room and amenities all consistent with what you'd expect from a Premier Inn. Used this location as a base to head into Cardiff for Ed Sheeran concert and it was an easy approx half hour drive into city. Staff really friendly and welcoming at check in and room was ready so we were able to check in slightly early. Shower was great, excellent water pressure!! Check out easy next day as can just drop key cards in a box. Didn't eat breakfast here but had a drink in adjoining pub where service was also great and friendly. Second time staying here for a Cardiff concert and would definitely use again rather than paying city centre hotel prices.

We stayed here for a very special family weekend, all 9 of us, including a very special little boy who needs a lot of support. The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful, making sure that we were able to access the whole hotel. We were made to feel very welcome throughout the stay, even when we unexpectedly turned up for a meal on the Friday night. Every request was sorted immediately, even to the point where they were able to provide a fridge for one of the rooms which was needed for milk and medication. great little hotel, lots of room outside and staff who cant do enough, really enjoyed our stay.

Our 2nd visit - we will be back for a 3rd :) We found this pub with rooms last year & were placed in the same room out of 11 on this occasion. It’s very close to the funfair & has a charming village green and tyre swing with parking both in front of the pub The rooms and beds are lovely and have everything you could expect to be provided. Plenty of tea and coffee also. Quality beds & a lovely hot power shower over a bath. We ate breakfast and evening meals here twice. Excellent breakfast & more than ample choice for dinner which was provided quickly given how busy the pub was. No complaints about the food whatsoever, we were all very happy. The food was delicious & hot. Great staff - we missed saying hi to Wendy this time as she wasn’t working on this visit. The other managers & staff were all excellent however with no complaints at all, they couldn’t do enough for their guests and service with a smile throughout. Special mention must be made of Morgan who was an absolute star & my children loved him! A real asset to our visit. I came a lot to Porthcawl fair as a child , but had not been back for some years until last year, due to family bereavements of those who took me , meaning I am the eldest left in my family and a single mum of 2. I am so glad I brought my children to the fair and that we found this gem of a pub with rooms to stay in. Even though we are going to Florida later this summer, all my children had asked me to do is go back to Porthcawl & to stay here!!! I am so glad we stayed here again. We can’t wait to come back and maybe our 3rd visit to room 1 Happy customers 5*
