Brest’s natural harbour, guarded by an imposing medieval tower and castle, hints at its past as one Brittany’s most important maritime cities—and it’s still the heart of the modern town, with seafront cafés looking out over yachts, fishing boats, and naval vessels.

Close to the congress center "Le Quartz", restaurants, cinema and brest harbour. The Bellevue Hotel in Brest offers 26 rooms on 5 floors, some rooms with sea view. The rooms are luminous and comfortable, all equiped bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer. THE HOTEL BELLEVUE**, THE BEST PLACE FOR YOUR STAY IN BRITANNY !
We stayed for 3 nights at this independent hotel (which we found through staying at another hotel in the Contact Hotel group). The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful, our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was perfect. The hotel is very well-located, within walking distance of the city centre and port, and parking in the hotel garage is available for a small additional charge. The price was very reasonable (and if you are planning to stay in other Contact Hotels, it is well worth joining their loyalty programme). We would certainly stay here again.

My whole career consists of traveling and this is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Restaurant is horrible! A homeless soup kitchen has better food then this place. I ordered a fish salad that smelled like the fish was locked in a hot close for a month, the woman next to me looked at me like I shi£ myself. The restaurant was also closed 3 days out of a week which wasn’t noted but I didn't really care after my first experience. I was discriminated and neglected the whole time cause I wasn’t French. Key card wouldn’t work one night and I was I interrogated like i shot a king when I went to get a replacement. To top it all off getting something as simple at ice was impossible, I would be better off climbing onto an iceberg and chiseling if off myself!

Friendly and polite staff, not just on the reception desk but also in the bar and breakfast room, clean and comfortable hotel, good location (about 20 minutes walk to the harbor area) , awesome breakfast Nevertheless a bit pricy for a bed and breakfast and be aware one colleague did have an evening meal in the restaurant, this apparently was not great however there are good options a few minutes away...

They do not ask you for the famous "pass sanitaire" (the European document that certifies that you have your complete doses of vaccination against covid or that you have a test that says that you have not tested positive for the disease in the last hours), sooo you can calmly be enjoying your breakfast next to a person positive for covid 19. (In France the "safety distance" is only one meter away, so do the math!!) AND many guests stroll through the common areas with the mask with the nose uncovered and the hotel staff allows it. Of course, they disinfect the table once you use it (#) Avoid this place!

We were very well welcomed for check-in by Charline, who took the time to accompany us to our room. Let me tell you that I have not experienced that a lot in the past and I have been to many hotels in Europe (private and pro). So I was thinking "was a nice start !" The hotel is indeed a good one : excellent matresses (good sleep is so important when you are away from home !), staff is absolutely polite and friendly, restaurant seemed really good (but I can not confirm since we were always eating outside), building is not so noisy despite the location (I was quite worried because of the motorway nearby). The downside was the lack of follow-up : something was broken in the room and I flagged it straight away, we stayed one week and nothing happened, nothing at all... one week ! I flagged it again during check-out, but at that point it had become useless to me now... too bad... it's not normal. No hair-dryer in a 4-star room, really ? Italian shower might be designed to look modern and fancy, but the glass wall is too small --> what a mess, all the water flooding outside, you end up clean yourself during vacation. No soap holder, it just swims there... No coat rack at room entrance/wall :-( Only 8 clothes hangers for 2 people, that's not enough, sorry. Depending on the occupancy in the hotel, their private/safe parking is quickly overfull, and your car ends up staying outside. We asked if the the parking spots next to the hotel were OK (foreign plate, you just never know), YES was the answer. The next morning our 2 rear-view mirrors were pushed back but fortunetaly not broken, Well well good to know..... To put it in a nutshell, the hotel is really good but I believe that there is room for improvement in order to be rated as a real 4-star.

Landlubbers looking for a cheap hotel in Brittany? The doors are always open at B&B Hotel Brest Port du Moulin Blanc. A cheap hotel near Brest port, Brest city centre, and Océanopolis Guests who love the open sea will find safe harbour at the B&B Brest Port, located only a few minutes' walk from the port and the Océanopolis aquarium.
The hotel is clean in the area is very quiet. Amenities are sparse and the “unmaned” feeling of the hotel chain (no permanent reception or other personnel) may be somewhat unsettling. Breakfast is not bad but some more attention tothe few warm items (eggs, bacon, sausages) by the attendant/receptionist may help.

Family of three. We were given a very spacious room with two big double beds. A nice, spacious bathroom with good pressure in the shower. Well functionning WIFI. The complimentary breakfast was good. Coffee available in the reception but not in our room. Location wise ok - about ten minutes on foot to the town center (up a steep hill) and free parking just outside the hotel.

Hotel is very dated and a bit dirty, unfortunately no other hotels available at the moment I was there.... Food was not bad but very limited in choice. Service also wasn't as you expect from a hotel that wasn't cheap! Never again for me.
