We serve subs and sandwiches made exclusively with Boar's Head brand meats and cheeses. We also serve soups, salads, and our customer-favorite cheesesteaks!
Many businesses succeed by simplifying their formula. That's surely Subplicity's goal. Things have been stripped down to only a few sandwiches with few options. It was too simple for us: we weren't attracted to any of the options, and it seemed like we would have a bit of a wait to get something.

In general, being routed off the interstate through Breezewood feels like being herded in a cattle run. But since there's nothing you can do about it, at least there's this great Starbucks. We've been stopping here for years and no matter whether they're busy or not, the service is great and the drinks taste fresh.

Ever since our local Dairy Queen left the area, we always stop here to go the bathroom and grab a blizzard for the road when we're traveling out west. The service is usually pretty quick. They could clean and/or remodel a little bit, but it's perfectly suitable and convenient.

I'll keep this short and sweet. This Dunkin Donuts served me a cup of the stalest coffee I've ever been sold. I drink my coffee black, so fresh is the thing. I should have pulled the cap off to check it prior to leaving, but went on faith (Dunkin Donuts is known for their coffee ... right?)
I go through Breezewood from time to time, but this particular Dunkin Donuts outlet is now off my radar screen. Their coffee was awful.

Breakfast, Homestyle
We were excited to come across this Bob Evan’s! We had great service and the food was delicious. However, I was upset and embarrassed by the treatment one of the young girls received from, I’m assuming the manager. It was a busy night and there was a bit of a wait to check out...a VERY rude older man made it vocally apparent that he was displeased. I’ve never gotten why people act this way... anyway, it was upsetting to this young girl... and rightly so! No one needs to be treated in this manner for things beyond their control! To make matters worse, the “manager” berated her and mocked her in front of a crowd of people. She was fighting tears but managed to keep it together, was polite and professional. I’ve managed a business for over 20 years... managers don’t treat employees like this in front of customers... honestly, GOOD managers don’t treat employees this way behind closed doors either! While I had good food and good service for my meal... I can’t rate this experience as highly as I’d like.

Every other year my wife's family holds a family reunion in Bowie, Maryland. WE live in Michigan so that means we drive through Breezewood, Pennsylvania. We must stop at Gateway at least once. This year was no exception. The food & service were great. Since last year, they added half sandwiches with soup or salad bar. What great choices for lunch!!!

My title says it all -- don't stop here to eat -- especially at lunch time!
We placed our order via the machines. There were people in front of us waiting their orders and people coming in behind us ordering. The orders were filled quickly with the exception of our order. Everyone ahead of us was gone - the people who had ordered behind us were gone - and we were still waiting. When we asked what was wrong and when our order would be filled we were told that they were "getting" to our order in a bit. Huh??? They filled 6 more orders before our order was ready.
All we had ordered was a Steak and Cheese 12" sub and a Ham and Cheese 12" sub. And it took them 25 minutes to fill our order. We did not order drinks or fries or anything other than the 2 sandwiches!
Once in our vehicle, we discovered that the ham andcheese sub which was supposed to be on toasted bread was not on toasted bread.
The $10.95 Steak and Cheese's bread was so soggy as to be unable to be eaten - so the steak and cheese had to be eaten without the bread (pretzel bread). The sandwich supposedly comes with caramelized onions but it did not have any onions on it.
A very BAD place to stop and eat at!!!

Stopped in Nov 2016 with my parents after an afternoon exploring the Abandoned Turnpike Tunnel. These diners are usually decent reasonably priced food, more on the home cooked side. It was terrible, expensive, dirty, terrible service. The leftover food on the blinds was nasty, the seats were tore apart and uncomfortable. Sad because it's a really cute place, just horribly taken care of and managed. What you got for the price was crazy. Will never go back and we make sure to spread the word.

This place seems to sell only pizza & not offer the very full Italian menu that others [like Bedford] do. Worst part by far is getting I/out b/c of horrific traffic patterns in Breezewood. When we order pizza to eat at home we always order from the pizza hut in Breezewood. Pizzas have always been ready as per phone confirmation. On occasion we've had trouble communicating what pizza & toppings we want [the basic standard that made them famous]. We have eaten there a time or 2 in past but b/c of VERY limited menu do not recommend. Once we got that advertised variety pack but did NOT care for either wings or alfredo. As noted pizza is best around.

Good road food for driving. (Except for the smothered burrito). Order the Fresco style for fewer calories. This location is easy in out in Breezewood if you are heading south on towards Maryland/Washington.
