This was my first visit here and finding a good restaurant in a small town is sometimes difficult. This one was a jewel. The food was excellent and the service was good. The next time I am through there, it will on my list of places to eat.

We went here because every other restaurant in town closes from 2pm to 5pm. I guess people here don't eat at that time of day. Buddy had cheese burger, came with purple onion, Roman lettuce and crispy fries. I had nachos and the they were covered with meat and cheese. Very good DQ.

Ken's is just plain yummy: great fried chicken, perfect chicken livers (if you're into that sorta thing!) and puffs. Puffs are deep fried biscuits that are crisp outside yet pillowy inside and excellent smothered in honey or to make a fried chicken sandwich with! Also had an array of good hot sauces (again, if you're into that!) It's good, simple comfort food that makes your belly happy and warms your heart.

The food here is pretty good, fajitas are good, tacos are good, I personally don't care for the cheese enchiladas because they put chili inside and outside of it. I don't like it inside. The owners don't speak much English but the wait staff does. This place is worth the stop, and they have the best chips and salsa!

We decided to try this cafe after reading the reviews and we were impressed with the food and friendly people. The prices are very good for what you get. The place is very small only counted 21 seats so get there early for lunch. Great food.

I have never had bad food here, everything is good ole homemade! Big homemade burgers, good chicken fried steak! Breakfast is good also, and they serve the biggest pancakes I've ever seen. I have ate here several times and always get good food!

While in Breckenridge for a visit we discovered a "FaceBook" page for the Canyon Road Bar and Grill so we decided to search it out. The location is rural and somewhat remote unless you have good directions to it; certainly a quiet area. We were greeted warmly upon our arrival and immediately shown to our table. The dining area abuts a large dance floor which features a bandstand at one end and a large bar at the other end; live entertainment is featured several nights a week. We ordered "Hog Wings" as an appetizer: they turned out to be mini bone-in pork ribs and were deliciously spicy and served with Ranch dressing. We each ordered the 16-ounce Rib Eye, aged a minimum of 21 days; having similar tastes we each ordered the steaks cooked "medium-rare". The usual preparation is "charcoal grilled" but on Friday and Saturday nights the chef fires up a Mesquite wood grill; we had our steaks Mesquite grilled. The steaks were thick cuts of "Prime" beef and were perfectly done; absolutely delicious. The onion rings as my side dish were crisp and tasty as well. The Key-Lime pie topped the meal perfectly. This is a restaurant we will certainly visit again, and as frequently as possible. I highly recommend the "Canyon Road Bar and Grill" to anyone visiting Breckenridge or the immediate area.

I had the shrimp fajitas and they were just the best. Entire meal was excellent. Service was also excellent. This is one meal I WILL have a gain if I have to drive 100 miles out of my to have it.
As we were finishing our meal, 5 police officers came into eat. That says something for the place.

This was some great pizza and great prices. 2 largest and an order of bread sticks for 20.00. Topping were good, flavorful bread. Lots of dipping sauce. We got it to go but when I went in to get the food the place was clean.

I stopped by Pit Stop BBQ on my way though Breckenridge for a quick lunch. I was a little early for the lunch rush on a Monday. So, it was not crowded which meant no waiting. The service was fast and friendly, and the staff seemed genuinely interested in making sure the customers had a good experience.
I ordered the lunch special which included a chopped beef sandwich, chips, and a drink. The beef was well prepared and tender although I thought it could have been a little more flavorful (and warmer). Adding some extra BBQ sauce helped. The portion size was also a little less than what I normally expect from Texas BBQ, but passable.
Overall, I had a pretty good lunch, and I would not hesitate to stop by again on my way through town.
