Once a mountain mining town decimated and nearly destroyed by river dredging, the surprisingly versatile Breckenridge has bounced back over the last century to become one of Colorado's top year round alpine getaways, with all-seasons activities galore. Restoration of the river area has led to the creation of pristine hiking trails and greenery in the summer months, but winter is the real draw. Skiers flock to the groomed slopes, chutes and bowls of Breckenridge Ski Resort by the million.

We discovered this place by accident and are glad we did. Conveniently located close to the City Market grocery store. We selected two delicious 16 ounce soups, accompanied by great tasting homemade nine bread and cookies for $17. The line was long, but moved quickly. We are so glad you wandered in. Thank you for recognizing the line moves fast. Hope to see you again soon at Soupz On.

Cookies on main street in Breckenridge
This place is literally a tiny piece of Heaven. It was my friend's birthday and not only did he get a free cookie, but he got to pick out a song off the playlist. Such a tiny space, but a great big atmosphere filled iwth laughter and delicious sweets. A bit expensive, but totally worth it!

Thank you for another great season!!

Housed in a 125-year-old home, the Hearthstone reflects the Victorian charm of Breckenridge while showcasing the best of the Rocky Mountains with creative farm-to-table Colorado Cuisine. We have an extensive wine list and creative house-crafted cocktails which complement unique entrees like Ginger Scallops, Blackberry Elk & Shrimp & Grits. Between the food & the richly adorned interior, you'll find Hearthstone's ambiance and dining experience quite memorable.
The ambiance is a bit old to me, I believe they intend to have an old world charm - but it comes off as a blend of the 1920’s and 1980’s - to me.
The meal and service was phenomenal
Tiffany, our server was delightful.
We enjoyed - thoroughly, the muscles (special app of the evening) and the lamb chef choice prep for the evening, this night a delicious rack of lamb
My wife loved the mushroom soup - I tasted it and loved it. Her 3 way Beat salad was outstanding.
We will definitely be back. And next time will enjoy that wine list!

We came in on a cold snowy day. The barista was making coffee and took her time. As I wondered why it took long, I later realized it was because she was a perfectionist. Upon ordering, she quickly made recommendations- our hot cocoa was made with milk, split in two and not as hot as usually served, to accommodate the kids. The food was divine (crepes, quiches and fruit tart) and the service- impeccable. As for the prices, they were not any higher than the rest of Breckenridge, and therefore this place was well worth it!

The Crown Cafe and Tavern is a well known establishment of 13 years on Main St. Breckenridge. Its comfy atmoshpere and delicous coffee have always been sought after by locals and visitors. In the Spring of 2013 the previous owner, Abi Norton, decided it was time to end this chapter and sold to a young couple-Sara and Brett Cox. Sara and Brett met and married in Breckenridge and often dreamed of owning their own business. When the opportunity to own The Crown came available, they jumped at the chance and opened its doors again in June 2014. With a fresh facelift and modified menu, The Crown experienced its best Summer to date. In the Fall of 2014, The Crown underwent a large renovation completely updating the interior and adding a new kitchen. It opened its doors in December with an expanded menu, new bar, and same charm. Be sure to stop by next time you're in Breckenridge to check out this local favorite!
Just returned from an amazing week in Breckenridge and this place was BY FAR, our most visited spot outside of the slopes. The hot chocolate is to DIE for and the food is great too. They even offer some gut warmth with Breckenridge Whiskey, available for the adults. Board games and cards to keep the kids busy. It is a must visit in Breck!

I visited Le Petit Paris for a birthday this past weekend. The staff was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. The host generously took pictures of us for over 5 mins. The ambience is romantic and modern - great place for a dinner date. Food was tasty and the drinks were delicious. Would highly recommend the Le Petit Paris cocktail!

Great place to grab a drink, snack, use the bathroom (not many on Main) and enjoy the amazing view from the back patio.

Stumbled upon this cafe when the queue for Starbucks was too long - been here every day since. Coffee is the best I’ve had in an American mountain resort, and the cakes are brilliant - I recommend the chocolate pecan pie!
