Why this place has such a high rating on Trip Advisor baffles. We waited an hour for our starters, the mains came exaclty four minutes after we received our starters. What was served was decidedly jejune in the Curry World, soupy curry, bland, which of course was cold by the time we finished it. This was a terrible expereince.

Our Underground Tea Room is in the heart of Bratislava, Slovakia. It is located in beautiful historical building of the Zichy Palace in still active bomb shleter. If you are brave enought to go down the stairs a suprise is waiting for you. Totally unique
My wife and I walked by the Underground Tea Room and thought it looked interesting but we kept going. After a minute we stopped, looked at each other we both regretted not going in. Our time was very limited, unfortunately we had to rush it a bit. I am not much of a tea drinker, my wife is, but the atmosphere was brilliant! First, it is located in an an old bomb shelter, so the entrance is very unique, then when you walk in you can sit in various rooms each having their own theme. It was such a relaxing and chill vibe, I could have spent hours here just drinking tea and reading a book or just talking. The host was so nice and helpful, she was great! I ordered a tea beer, and it was excellent. My wife enjoyed her tea, and we both agree that we loved the Underground Tea Room.Wow thank you so much for such a nice comment. We are very happy you enjoyed your time and teas at our Underground tearoom.Take care and enjoy ur travels. :)

Sitting down at an outside table at Korzo, which sits on a prominent corner spot on one of Bratislava's top tourist trails, we were more intent on taking the weight off our feet after a lengthy stroll through the city that unearthing foodie treats. It was just before breakfast deadline but we managed to get in quick and ordered a frittata and a croissant - actually two croissants, with copious butter and decent jam. The frittata was a pretty little plate with plenty of added interest and lots of flavour, and the coffee was good quality, too.On top of that the corner location makes it a good spot for people watching as you rest your feet. Pleasantly surprised.

A lovely venue with friendly hospital staff. We made the mistake of going here for dinner - the portions are small! It's probably better suited for light bites or lunches. A word of warning too - the salmon bowl would probably be better named as a Sushi bowl as the salmon is raw.

I visited Houdini restaurant part of 5 star Hotel Marrol's for lunch on a day trip from Vienna to Bratislava.I was looking for a set lunch deal, that had some good variation/options,that had good reviews and offered a competitive price. After extensive research on Trip Advisor I chose Houdini restaurant.I am so glad that I did as it was a 5 star experience from start to finish.Amazing food, fantastic service and smart, elegant setting.Set Lunch is served from 12p.m-3p.m.We arrived at 2.20p.mish,so relatively late but at no stage were we rushed by the staff.I chose:chicken soup, veal with dumplings and had crepes for dessert.I was fully satisfied with every dish. The chicken soup was rich and flavoursome and freshly poured for us with style by our waiter at our table. My mains was first class, melt in the mouth tender veal and divine potato dumplings, marinated in a great sauce.I left nothing in the plate.Crepes were enjoyable as well.3 great courses for just 14.5 euros, this was accompanied by a nice beer.I was more than happy to tip as the food and service was exceptional. This experience was one of the best parts of our day Trip to Bratislava. Thanks Houdini Restaurant.
