Reviewed By iamevil4June 1 rm 414. I paid 140$ a night, clean hotel. The suites are huge. So so internet comfortable beds, super nice staff and very friendly, the hotel is on the edge of a industrial but you will need a car , 10 minutes from everything, would stay again!

Reviewed By taylorausherToe nail clippings in my room, hair shavings on the counter in the bathroom and I calf front desk and nothing was done about it. We booked 25 rooms as we were having our wedding in town, and one of our guests had their room broken into and the hotel did nothing. The police had to be called. Then the hotel still tried to charge them for their room. After a scene was made, the room was free of charge. Most of the rooms are run down, dingy and out dated. Mind you, the suites were nicer but still very dark looking.

Welcome to the newly renovated Comfort Inn Brantford. All guestrooms, corridors, front desk and lobby has been renovated. This hotel is 100 smoke free. All guest rooms have a 32 inch flat screen television, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and board. Ground floor rooms have a refrigerator, microwave and patio door access. Symposium Cafe is adjoining to the hotel and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Our room was spotlessly clean and well equipped with towels, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and more drawer and cupboards space than you often get in much more expensive places. Convenient for lots of nearby fast food places and the Symposium Café on site (see separate review). Highly recommended.

Reviewed By GlobeTrotting292562Recently, I booked an overnight stay at the Wyndham hotel in Brantford for a family event for the night of April 2, 2022 and approximately 72 hours prior to the stay, notified the service that I had contracted COVID and would be unable to attend the event. The booking system, Reservations.com, had charged me in full for the hotel stay at the time of reservation, a practice which I had not experienced in the past. When I informed them of my condition, they refused cancellation. I reached out to the booking system, which were not only unaccommodating but quite rude and abrasive. I then contacted the hotel directly and only reached a new employee that said they would have to have a manager return my call. I was never contacted. I proceeded to contact my credit card company which reversed the charge due to COVID and they stated they would contact the merchant to inform. The merchant disputed the reversal and the charge was reapplied to my credit card. While I am certain that there will be no satisfaction in writing this, I have learned a valuable and expensive lesson in dealing with this hotel and Reservations.com and will share this story with as many people as possible. I support the tourism sector, and will ensure that my professional network is aware of the negative customer experience that is incurred in Reservations.com booking system. My credit card company stated that in seeking less expensive reservations, customers are at risk through organizations like this and it is worth it to note, that the cost of my reservation was about 30% more expensive than that of other family members that booked directly with the hotel or through other booking agents.

Disappointing Stay

The room was never cleaned for the duration of my stay (I was there for four nights), which makes me wonder what else wasn't cleaned before my stay. The towels were never replenished and wet towels were never picked up. Additionally, my request for cutlery was never fulfilled. I politely asked the front desk staff three times for cutlery since none was initially provided as promised during booking. Both of my requests for cutlery and clean towels were met with a very cool, uninterested response. For $190 per night, I was very disappointed with the service I received at TownPlace Suites, and will not be returning in the future.

Reviewed By Joanne RWe were in the Brantford area for a few days and the handiest hotel was the Holiday Inn which was in a food location. We enjoyed the 2 days and the breakfast area had a great selection of items and the ladies we saw did a good job. I needed an assessible room and it was very good. The lounge in the room was great and the bed was very comfy. The only thing I could suggest is for the assessible room have a higher toilet, it would make things easier.

Reviewed By Bad7788Came in from New Brunswick at 3:00pm. My room was in poor condition....sign out front says free movies , I guess cable was free that’s it. My towels were literally stained and dirty. Free internet as they advertised I never got until 2am after the power went out for 30 minutes. The people in the next room fought from 1:30am- 6:30am. Walls are paper thin. Never got to sleep until 8am. Talk to the owner at 10am ...told me too bad nothing he can do. Smell of marijuana all night throughout my room . I definitely would not recommend this Motel to anyone. Room was dirty, bathroom and bathroom linen was literally not freshly washed or clean and customer service was even more unsatisfactory beyond standard.
