A great place to stop for a drink or lunch when kayaking or canoeing the Spreewald canals. Cosy atmosphere at the outdoor biergarten.

Top Gaststätte, gute schmackhafte Gerichte, Super Lage, sehr schön, innen und drauÃen, nur wurde es Jahr für Jahr teurer und die Preise sind nicht mehr angemessenWir waren zu Zeiten hier, als man noch um jeden Gast "gebuhlt" hat, heute ist man nicht mehr erwünscht als Radler oder Paddler

We had high hopes for a fine evening based on other reviews; unfortunately, our experience was a terrible disappointment so I cannot offer any positive comment. We entered an empty restaurant with a man seated near bar who appeared to be the chef. He offered us a mildly friendly greeting when we asked to be seated. He told us to seat ourselves wherever we preferred. We've seated ourselves in the beer garden,which was a quaint setting and had only one other couple seated. Waitress, who appeared to be the Frau of chef, gave us a sharp look after we requested her to clean the table and then stayed away an extra long duration before delivering our drinks- still without cleaning the table. A younger waitress appeared to clean other tables but not ours. There was no language barrier because three in our party are fluent German speakers, however, the initial request to clean table prior to drink order was spoken in English and then clarified in German.
