Our first impression was not good as several staff walked by us as we were trying to determine if it was self Seating. Finally we were able to flag someone down. After that, our service was great. I had a pesto salmon Sandwich that was very good. My husband had fish tacos that were just ok; the sauce was put at the bottom of the shell and all dripped out...none on the fish. The old home (now the restaurant) is interesting.

Overlooking the waters of Horseshoe Bay, Olive & Anchor offers casual, great value dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner served in a relaxed atmosphere by friendly and professional staff. Our menu is all about simple, home-made, un-fussy and delicious food using only fresh produce.
We ate here in December, 2017, during the noon hour. We had actually planned to eat at the restaurant next door but was told there was a 20 minute wait. We opted to find some place else. So glad we did! Wow!
If you are looking for a great place to eat with beautiful scenery out the window, this is it! Don't pass this up!
We had fish and chips which is always a safe bet. This was, without a doubt, the best fish and chips we have had. They have plenty of beer, lots of menu choices and excellent service.
This is definitely a must stop if you are in the area.

Pudgies Pizza serves the best pizza in Horseshoe Bay at very reasonable prices. As some other reviewers have stated, don't be put off by the humble appearance of this pizzeria: the quality of the pizza is outstanding. Perfect when you're behind the eight ball and need to get the kids dinner quick!

Troll's Restaurant was established in 1946 by Joe and Dorothy Troll and remains in the Troll's family today. We are conveniently located by the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal with a waterfront view that will leave you wanting more, so stop on by next time you are in our neighborhood. World famous fish and chips, burgers, sandwiches and classic clam chowder are always available, and for you early risers we start serving breakfast at 6AM so be sure to come and fill up before you continue on your journey!
Popped in for a meal before our ferry to the Sunshine coast. I ordered the chicken burger but asked for it as a wrap (I stupidly thought that was a thing). It didn't seem to bother the waitress though, and the given that it was a 'special order' the wrap was absolutely delicious. The kitchen staff didn't skimp on the quality despite the change. My boyfriend got the oyster burger and the salad and was very happy with the portion size. Our Caesars were top notch, and I look forward to going there again next time we catch the ferry.

Refreshingly uncomplicated and delciious food. Service with excellence overlooking Gibsons Landing and the Harbour. Outdoor patio. Join us in historic Gibsons Landing.
I have been going to Sweet Water since it opened. I operated a BB in Gibsons and sent my guest there as well. The hospitality of the Owner/Hosts, Brigitta and Andrew, enhance the ambiance. The delicious meals that flow from the kitchen are, too soon, consumed and the patron wishing for more.

This is a chain but this location has excellent fish and chips. Perfectly battered with sides of super crisp fries and cole slaw. At $12 for a one piece haddock dipped and battered in front of you- the price is right. Service was very good. the clue slaw is the only item that could use fresh sweet B.C. cabbage rather than the woody texture mass supply cabbage. Would eat here again. On par with the best British pubs.

Delicious Organic Chocolate Truffles, Bars and Hot Chocolates all made on the premises and served with a European flair. Also Enjoy coffee, biscotti and gelato.
This place is adorable. The smell of chocolate hits you as you open the door. They have an amazing selection of organic truffles and delicious gelato. I also tried the Hot Chocolate and Espresso which was lovely. We will be stopping by again on our next visit to Bowen Island!

You’ll see BOWEN mom’s and tots playing in the garden...BOWEN construction workers...and hungry golfers at the Ruddy Kitchen.
Great paninis and sandwiches but nothing fancy here. Perfect for a picnic at the west-side Beaches. Get your food from the friendly counter staff and carry it outside to the covered picnic tables (heated area in the winter). Fast, friendly and good.

Breakfast here was delicious! We had a breakfast wrap and the stuffed french toast special, both of which were very enjoyable and worth the price. Watch out for longer lines and slower service on summer mornings -- this place is popular, and everyone will be there!
