This place is very outdated looking. The inside is decorated with Native American decorations from the 90's. Even feeling a little leery I figured we would give it a shot because of the reviews on trip advisor. This pizza was great and tasted fresh. The only thing they need to improve on is seasoning their pizza crust. I would definitely stop here again.

Awesome ice cream, cheese, butter, soup and sandwiches. This is truly a hidden gem. Friendly staff and excellent service.

Dinner with friends at A Frame. Waitress very friendly and efficient. Southwest chicken salad was excellent. Walleye fingers just so so. Overall we were satisfied with the meal and service

Stopped here after a long day in the sun for a cold treat. Not all Dairy Queens are clean, many of them are not. Was pleased that this one was. It was a beautiful evening and would have liked to have sat outside, but no outdoor seating.

We ate dinner here in August of 2016. This is a brand new restaurant with an upscale contemporary look at feel that you wouldn't expect to find in a smaller town. The menu was not extensive, but was surprisingly varied -you won't be stuck with another burger and fries basket. There was also a good selection of beer, wine, and bar drinks. One bit of small-town feel crept in -limited quantities -our poor waitress had to return to our table not once, not twice, but three times, to inform me that they had run out of the beer I had selected. Happily, with classic small-town friendliness and service, she was followed on that third trip by the manager, carrying a sample of a beer they had in stock that she thought I would like, based on what I had been trying to order. She had indeed made a good selection. All part of the adventure!

No disability parking----no curb ramp----entry doors awkward and not senior friendly.
Clearly another small ND rural community well behind the times for senior accommodations.
Sign says "drive-in" but not so. It is truly a restaurant. And, in no way pretentious.
Family owned restaurant----50's theme---order at counter then seat yourself wherever.... Checkout the Juke Box, old car pictures, and license plates along with the soda fountain style of menu board (no menus at table).
Order will be brought to your table----fill your own drinks. Family style seating....informal---many in farm clothes some seniors there---meals simply served of good quality and taste.... Prep time is very good....Chiicken salad
served in bowl mostly iceberg lettuce and could use more chicken---it was however
fresh and tasty. The single cheeseburger was delicious....Onion rings were also very good....Guest ordered burger and fries and he enjoyed them.
Restrooms clean and stocked.
Family and locals frequent this restaurant and it is almost the farthest point north of ND 5 on Main St. before you are out off town on way to Canada.
I would recommend this as a good place to eat without frills.

Park on street angle in....
No disability space nearby....no ramps over curbs....
Two Front door was difficult with two doors to manage that seniors will need help with perhaps.....
Not fine dining--- Excellent ratings should be for fine dining. Bakery and restaurant all under one roof. Homey will define the interior---certainly not presumptious yet warm and friendly---not new but farm-like simplicity---clean---A/C--- bakery case that will knock your eyes out.....farmer and local family favorites.....simple menu....specials of the day---friendly waitstaff----very good food....so what's to say no to? Large groups welcome.....families.....no alcohol!
Note: Sunday Buffet 9am to 2pm $10.50 @ milk is extra.....
Fresh made breads of several types, buns, etc.....Alligators, Turnovers, Bismarcks,
twists, glazed, sugared, long johns, pretzles, beehives, dipped, you name it and it just might be there.....Cakes in cooler along with some pies.....for a County Seat, Bottineau is pretty lucky-----the bakery is worth a stop as you cruise through on
ND State Rt. 5....Clean restrooms.....no flies.

I had steak ordered medium rare which arrived at my table hot off the grill. Everything else was mediocre. Salad was a chopped iceber lettuce which was crisp and served on a chilled plate...but that was it. No tomato, cucumber, shave of carrot....bland. The baked potatoe was fine. Don't bother with mushrooms and onion unless you love canned mushrooms.

On Friday they have brisket, chicken, pork ribs and another pork entree. It was very good. We also had fried pizza, which tasted like really crispy calzone. It was different. I did not like their macroni salad.
Wait staff was friendly and checked in with us from time to time.

Quantity over quality is the plus here. Speedy service. Typical American/Chinese fare but this beats most restaurants which seem to focus on fast foods.
