Delightful self catering cottages set in a gorgeous, tropical garden where birds abound. Ideal location within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, banks and other amenities. On site access to Chobe river frontage to a private deck set high in a Jackelberry tree ideally situated to enjoy spectacular sunsets. The old world feel of these cottages is created with antiques and home made quilts. We spent 2 nights in the Babbler cottage. Beautiful place. Very comfortable and well appointed with everything you would need to stay there. The surrounding bush and bird life was awesome. The staff were very friendly. Will definitely be back again soon.

Situated close to the village of Gweta, 290 km from Francistown & 200km from Maun, this family friendly camp accepts children of all ages. Planet Baobab combines style with comfort while remaining true to its African inspiration. Accommodation provides different options at all price levels. Traditionally styled, beautifully painted Kalanga Huts with en-suite bathrooms or the shady campsite. The Africantastic ‘shebeen’ style central mess features a tasty bar menu, and when it heats up, cool off in the biggest coolest pool in the Kalahari. Activities on offer all year round include: guided bush walks; traditional cattle post and village visits; incredibly friendly habituated meerkats; historical baobabs. Dry season (25th April to 31st October) activities include quad biking on the saltpans; a sleep out under the magnificent Makgadikgadi night sky. Wet season (1st November to 24th April) activities include the spectacular zebra and wildebeest migration experience.
Initially we hadn't booked to stay here but after popping by on the way to Napa we rearranged to return and make this our last night. The hotel's situation is perfect for a stop on the way to Napa to visit the pans. On the way there we crossed the pans from south to north and despite out guide book informing us there was a route I wouldn't advise it. PB organise various day/overnight trips which should like a much safer and enjoyable option.. PB is expensive but if you want an little understated luxury I think it's worth it. The down side is , as mentioned in the reviews, the lighting inside the chalets is very low, atmospheric but impossible to shave by (says my husband). Wifi isn't free and only available in the bar or reception. Probably the best breakfast in the 6 weeks in Africa.

A very beautiful place to interact with nature and perfect for those who are not so comfortable with safari, great service from their lovely staff, good food, loved the game drive, and affordable. Amazing and memorable trip

Welcome to Suricata retreat online! We are a Green Lodge in the Tuli Block and rely completely on Solar Power. Tranquillity at its best! Our game farm has a variety of game including giraffe, zebra, eland, red hartebeest, wildebeest, kudu, impala, gemsbok, warthog as well as all the small species.Other activities for our guests include fishing on the Limpopo River/Private dam as well as bow hunting.
From the moment you arrive, Darrin and Sharron the owners, make you most welcome. The lodge is an oasis in the middle of the bush. The accommodation is first class, the food is excellent and the nature drives entertaining. There are no large predators on the reserve but there are many other interesting species, including "frankie" the crocodile. After being on safari this was was a excellent place to wind down and just enjoy the peace and tranquility and the large night sky. Thanks again for the Birthday cake.

Situated on the main road to Moremi Game Reserve the gate way to Okavango Delta, only 7 kilometers from Maun city center on the banks of the Boronyane river (seasonal). River Nest is trendy , charming and yet traditional in its settings, ideal for a quite romantic retreats, safari adventures, holiday , business and home stays.
We spent here 2 nights. The room was big and comfortable but there were a lot of mosquitos that disturbed our night. The swimming pool is small. The breakfast was good and also the staff is kind. Air conditioning, kitchenette and frigo available in rooms.

The place has nothing good about it. Its in the middle of nowhere and very difficult to get. The staff very unfriendly - when you talk to them they just look at you as they not hearing you. Not sure if they understand english.. Even if you tell them time you need breakfast- that time you will find them washing dishes instead. They just offer a single towel and the shower so user unfriendly. One is better of sleeping in the car than in this place. Maybe thats why its so cheap it has nothing to offer in terms of comfort
