An elegant maison built in the year 1775 and situated in Corso Ausugum, in the heart of Borgo, has been brought to a new life. The result of this sophisticated renovation is the Locanda in Borgo. A very refined and elegant atmosphere, for an unforgettable stay. On the main floor you can find the breakfast room, where breakfast is served as a buffet, and the living room with a small bookcase.
Our whole family stayed in an extended visit at 1775 visiting local relatives and friends. We were not sure what we were going to get as far as accomodation and breakfast and we were wonderfully suprised. Dennis and his Mama and Papa were excellent hosts and the morning breakfast was exceptional. Location was excellent and probably my only tip for visiting in the summer months is some insect repellent if you are out in the evenings as for some reason the mosquitoes loved me but ignored everyone else. A wonderful stay.

We and our bicycles spent an autumn night at the Villa and enjoyed the warming bed comforters, huge shower and olive oil based lotions and soaps, a fantastic breakfast that included our hostess’s freshly made apple strudel and large, well-made cappuccini. The Villa has lovely, sun-filled common spaces, and the breakfast room is tastefully and comfortably arranged. The view over the Valsugana and Borgo is stunning! The owner gave us great information about the cycling trails in Alto Adige that her German guests use. The Caldazo to Cortina D’Ampezzo and the Val Pusteria trails are ones we will try in 2018 as a way to cycle among the Dolomiti Mountains. We recommend this charming B&B!

Awesome location for a motorcycle trip. Nice and friendly people. Unfortunately no open bar. Nice rooms, clean and they look like almost new. Felt like check in is almost always possible. A little bit far away from everything

Small and simple structure run by extremely kind and very professional owners! Perfect location for sight seeing of Valsugana, especially for the Via del Brenta bicycle route. Rooms comfortable and very clean. Thank you Stefano and Maddalena! Just a small note: on very hot summer nights a fan in the room would be appreciated.

B&B gestito con cura e professionalità. Camera ampia e confortevole. Colazione molto buona (manca una proposta salata). A 73€ per notte in due con colazione ritengo sia un'ottima proposta. Unica pecca la TV che riceve solo Rai e LA7 (quest'ultima a tratti). Consigliato.

Though they didn't speak English and we didn't speak Italian, we were able to get checked in after biking 65 miles up the mountain. The male proprietor was a stitch and made sure we pronounced our Italian correctly (e.g., he corrected us when we told him we went to Avezzano -- with 2 z's, you need to pronounce it succinctly like pizza). The rooms were pretty old and not that clean (mold on the walls) but frankly, they were the only game in town in September and we were grateful to have a place to stay as well as food. And the food was wonderful albeit a bit too much. It was a 5-course meal with what I presume was traditional Italian home cooking. We had to skip the dessert because we were full despite the fact that we expended a lot of energy biking up the mountain. Although I told the owner to save it for breakfast, he didn't oblige. Instead, we got a really awesome croissant. It was very crispy on the outside and light & fluffy on the inside with some type of creme. It was the best croissant I had in Italy bar none. We had other food along with 2 cappuccinos but the only thing I can remember is that croissant. The other issue we had with is that there wasn't enough hot water. After riding up the mountain in some serious headwind in 60's F temperatures, we were cold. In addition to the lack of sufficient hot water, there was also no heat. They said that the heat wouldn't be turned on until October 1st. Needless to say, it was a cold night. Note that since this is up in the mountains, there is no cell coverage nor wifi access. When we tried to book this place by email, they had issues and didn't respond to us. I had to get my niece, who speaks Italian, to confirm the reservation.

Borgo Valsugana, a small village in Trentino Alto Adige, there is a big hotel called “Sports' hostel”. As the name suggests, it's the perfect place where people who love sports can spend their holiday. The hotel offers a lot of activities: there are football fields, a gym, a big swimming pool and a fantastic athletic's track. The hotel is also next to a river and to a path that joins the hotel to the city. The building is new and the clean staff is very efficient: the rooms are always clean. Also, your clothes will be always clean because the hotel offers a dishwater service. You will never be hungry, despite your physical activities: breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the price, and they're delicious! Davide
