We first stopped for hot cacao and it was delicious. After our tour of the city, we came back for lunch and it was really good. We truly had authentic Italian food served hot and tasty. Try the pasta bolognese and the mushroom soup. Absolutely delicious.

A very romantic restaurant like in a cellar in the rock, nice decorated, felted atmosphere,
for a perfect evening and a delicious menus; excellent antipasti, and pastas with vongoli (mussels), very good meat, roast or lamb, celebrated with a good wine and at last for gourmets, a great dessert. Il Piccolo restaurant, is to recommend.

Nicely set atmosphere and decor. Service is optimal and food is prepared with a very nice and fancy touch. Menu changes regularly and always includes local tastes! Nice wine selection to choose from.

Just a short walk up from the center of town, you will find this amazing restaurant (there is parking up there as well). They often hold weddings and parties on their upstairs patio. Inside the restaurant, the ceiling is dotted with small lights and the walls are lined with large windows to observe the beautiful views. They have a nice wine list. The cappellitti en brodo is fantastic--served in a large ceramic covered bowl, they are unusual circular cappellittis and their filling is divine! The pastas were also delicious. We shared a grigliata as a main, which was huge, and the sausage will go down as the best sausage I have ever eaten anywhere. They serve you complementary rich chocolate truffles with your espresso. The place is packed with locals. The service was great as well. We would go back.

Excellent food, excellent service. It was a slow, cool night and we chose to sit outside, to our waiter's surprise, but he took great care of us. I had an all-inclusive meal, my husband had a spinach-filled gnocchi with pesto that was out of this world. Each of my dishes was delicious and well paired with the wine recommended by our waiter.

We ate as a family twice while on vacation in San Marino. Much better cooking than other restaurants and more food for the value than other restaurants in the old center. We ate all the types of food: fish, meat, pasta, pizza, vegetables, salad, desserts, house wine. I have never had better food, even at top restaurants in fancy buildings.

I have visited Hostaria da Lino on several occasions and it has always exceeded my high expectations. The food is amazing, the rooms are excellent and clean and the location is perfect and picturesque. I highly recommend staying and eating at da Lino. Be sure to make a reservation if you stay for dinner because the restaurant is very popular with locals!

Arrived 2pmish after just walked the Della Rupe so was very hungry (and thirsty). So had a soup starter (bland) and then a pizza. Which was huge. And tasty. nly one other person there but waitress was very unattentive and took ages to take orders, get drinks, Which was surprise as I then found out that they closed straight after I left!

Our restaurant is located in the heart of the historic center of the ancient Republic of San Marino, offers cozy atmosphere with panoramic views and fine cuisine much to devote part of catering to gluten-free cooking. Romagna cuisine with homemade pasta, seafood and pizza with dough also spelt or KAMUT.
This was the first proper meal in a restaurant after arriving in San Marino. We walked in and asked for a table for two. After being asked if we had a reservation, which we didn't they said they might be able to fit us in but in reality there was plenty of room for two.
It was busy with a good atmosphere. There were groups of teenagers in there having pizzas and family groups in there.
The menu was quite good with pizzas, pastas and a la carte meals.
We started with melon and ham which is the best example I have ever had. There was about a quarter of a Gala melon and about 10 slices of Parma ham but not like we get it like dried pressed meat this was like soft fluffy ham and was delicious.
I followed that up with home made ravioli and my partner had a lasagne.
The wine is by the bottle or house wine by the carafe in various sizes. Half a litre €4 and it was excellent wine.
This was another good meal in San Marino and for those staying in the Hotel Rosa it is less than 5 minutes walk.
