I read several reviews prior to visit, table of 4 with reservation. Wine choice was good. Appetizer of escargot was ok, scallops were very good (sides are extra in case you are wondering), others at table had fish of day they said was good. Creme brulee was warm with burnt sugar— mm very tasty. Choices were a bit $$ but tasty. Tables are very close so is abit noisy and no issues with parking..

Great atmosphere with an underwater theme. Wine list was unique on a tablet with tasting notes and more. Ceviche appetizer was wonderful and fresh and the branzino fish special was delightful with plenty to share. Our server Dominic was very helpful in all our choices

Wylds Cafe serves Modern American Cuisine with a French Flair. Wylds dining room is casual but elegant, surrounding our guests with works of Art from local artists. Wylds has wines by the glass as well as half and full bottle offerings. Wylds also chills more than 25 beers, including hard to find micro brews. Reservations are recommended, walkins are always welcome.
We were greeted like old friends, seated at “our” table. Ambiance, service and dinner excellent. I had duck breast with creamy shallot risotto and green beans. My partner had Parmesan Crusted Walleye smashed & asparagus. Both DELICIOUS. Started with a small Caesar salad and fresh baked bread. I just cannot say enough good things about this intimate setting. I love to cook and entertain, hence I’m always paying attention to the details as I would at home. They got a 97.

I wish this place was closer, as I would order a sub everyday.
I had the Club Sub and my dad had the Italian.
Both were equally delicious, everything from the roll, to the amount of meat they stuff
in was great.
I believe it was Stan who was making each sub, he would freshly slice each cut of meat
for the sub.
The process is not quick, but it is so worth the little wait.
There are 4 chairs to sit in while they make each sub.
Everyone was super nice and I can't wait to go back!!
Don't be put off by the location or the number of service personnel outside waiting for their sub, it's not fancy but damn it's good.

Have been to Lapa’s twice for lunch and plan to go again...that should tell you something! The service is attentive and friendly. Food is the star! Everything is fresh, I mean fresh. No worries about week to day old menu items. You won’t find them here. Authentic Costa Rican cuisine! Yum!

We arrived before opening and were graciously seated outside while the restaurant opened. Nick was our server and he was upbeat, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I enjoyed a fresh beet salad while my friends enjoyed the short ribs and lasagna. Drinks were a little pricier than I expected but the food made up for it. Upon entering, we saw the chef hand preparing the ravioli and throughout our meal, we could see and hear the chef and sous chefs preparing our meal as the kitchen was visible to our table. The presentation of the food was exceptional. I would definitely eat there again!

We showed up on a Sat evening at 6:30 with no reservations & were pleasantly surprised to get a table. The place filled up very quickly so it was our lucky day! The service was very good & our waitress was extremely helpful & knowledgeable about the menu.
We ordered the mussels for an appetizer. They were great and so was the sauce they were cooked in....very tasty for dipping some French bread.
We order the pork chop medallions & seafood pasta as entrees - both we very tasty & good. Actually got the half orders on both which were more than enough for dinner & allowed us some room for dessert. We ordered the creme brûlée which was also excellent.
Prices were reasonable for the type of restaurant.
Would definitely go back if I’m in the area.

From light and fluffy pancakes and waffles to our famous Skillets(R) eggs, soups and sandwiches, our menu is sure to appeal to your palate.
Homey, well decorated and loads of pictures to make your moth water! This place is known for their bacon, skillet potatoes and sweet or savory dishes. All are sure to please. We had a frittata (amazing) French toast with eggs, sausage and fruit, and potato pancakes that were outstanding! Each received their own carafe of coffee, HOT tea, and syrup. We could have eaten more because everything looked so good!
