We had a $70 lunch overlooking the deck and the views were outstanding. I ordered ice tea and it arrived quickly but with no lemon. My husband's beer arrived about 10 minutes later. The lobster bisque had a good taste but was lukewarm. My salad was basically lettuce and also lukewarm. My husband ordered the fried oyster appetizer for his lunch and was dismayed to see the over-fried oysters (lukewarm) tasteless and without a speck of moisture. I had the grilled mahi mahi sandwich. The fish which was either precooked and kept under a warming light or overcooked and left to sit before pickup. I'm expecting the former since the French Fries were hot and quite tasty. I'm expecting the dinner staff to be more attentive to the food, but would not try a second meal.

Very simple items sold here. Ice cream was ehhh caramel corn smelled phenomenal and Bob was a very very nice guy. There's nothing special about this place but it was friendly and had a great assortment of desserts.

We are a 1946 Service Diner originally from Wooster, MA. This dinner was moved to Bolton Landing in 1989 to replace the old 1904 Bill Gates Dinner which was placed in the Adirondack Museum. We take pride in keeping our dinner in its early native state, and love to see people excited about our little treasure. It is a quaint, buzzing atmosphere in the summer and houses many of the locals in the winter. November thru Mid May hours are: Friday thru Monday 7am-2pm, closed Tuesday's and Wednesday's. Mid May thru the summer we are open Every Day 7am-2pm.
Excellent coffee, delicious, fresh and creative food options, and warm and friendly service: a trifecta! There is something for everyone on the menu: vegetarian and gluten free options! The spinach-quinoa cakes are fantastic! We look forward to stopping here every time we are in Bolton! Don’t miss it!

Want to have your Ben & Jerry's ice cream the way it was originally intended? Head into one of our locally owned and operated ice cream shops and dig into any of our euphoric ice cream flavors in the way the first scoops were served up by Ben and Jerry themselves. We even offer catering and will deliver our ice cream right to your next party or event!
We walked in just to get out of the rain, yet the smell of freshly baked waffle cones had us ordering a treat. The college age server was helpful in letting us try a few flavors before we make our selections. Coconut Seven Layer and Coffee Buzz Buzz made the cut.

We enjoyed each meal... from the Roasted Vegetable Sandwich, to the Eggs Benedict, to the tasty specialty Pizzas, etc., etc. There are many good choices on the Menu.
The Ambiance is very nice, whether seated inside near the Fireplace, or in the fine Dining Room, or outside on the Veranda overlooking the beautiful Lake George Views, from Morning to Sunset.

A great meal in a charming setting a few minutes from downtown....Top-notch steak and seafood for dinner, fun sides with amazing chocolate cake and fresh-made beignets for dessert. Service was superb and Sarah Joy made this dinner a true highlight of our trip. A sure-bet when in the area for families and couples. We look forward to an encore visit!

Chateau on the Lake is located in upstate New York on Lake George, and is more than a dining establishment -- it's an experience. Our clients visit our property for at least 3 hours, select from our wine list, sit by the fire pit, savor a three to four course meal, and end their evening with coffee/after dinner drinks by the fire pit while roasting s'mores. Chateau on the Lake has been open since 2013, and we have quickly became a popular establishment, sold to capacity night after night. We are a great place to book your wedding. A memorable time is assured when you visit Chateau on the Lake. We hope to see you soon. We also now offer rooms that can be rented nightly. The rooms are located above the restaurant. They are luxury rooms. $500 - $1,200 per night.
There is little question that the setting is idyllic and that it would be hard to find a prettier setting in which to dine. That said, the food was passable yet was not nearly as special as the hype would suggest it be. It seems like they are striving to be something they simply are not.
Instead what we found is that the food was okay but the service was lacking. The waitress seemed almost annoyed that we were there & I even asked her if she was having a bad day. anyway, perhaps it was an off day for the place (toward the end of the season when much of the help may have gone back to college) but honestly....that's not my problem.
In the end, a bit of a disappointment apart from the view....which we could have gotten from our cabin while BBQing.

the restaurant is part of blue manor grove. there's a fabulous fireplace in the great room, but we sat at a table practically hanging over lake george -- beautiful. the service wasn't great, but the food was excellent. i had a reuben sandwich, overflowing and delicious. my husband enjoyed his pulled pork and the french fries were wonderful. next trip, i'd like to have dinner here - the menu looked awesome.

Wonderful German food with great service. So glad we discovered Pumpernickel's to end our day trip! Online reviews were high and our high rating joins so many others.
