Cartagena, a gorgeous fishing village on Colombia's Caribbean coast, has excellent beaches, a historic old town (that's entirely walkable) and beautiful colonial architecture. It's also one of the safest places in the country, so it's no wonder it's a popular port of call for cruise ships. Need a break from exploring the cobblestone streets? Stop at an outdoor cafe for excellent pastries and people-watching.

Opened in July 2016 by a British-American-Colombian team, Blue Apple Beach House is an exclusive Restaurant, Beach Club and Guest House where like-minded locals and tourists can enjoy great food, music and company in a laid back, beautiful island setting.
The beach house was a hip, fun and beautiful place to spend our last full day in Colombia. Service was a touch slow at times but largely I think because there were some really big groups monopolizing their attention. Canât fault them too much. Iâd definitely go back and stay overnight...the private bungalows looked amazing! Thank you for your kind review and when you come back, we will do everything we can to speed up the service! Hopefully you'll be spending the night....

Contemporary cuisine based on the gastronomic culture and biodiversity of the Colombian Caribbean territory
We were excited to go here. The reviews are excellent and it was close to our Airbnb. We used the automated booking system on their web page, selected a time and waited for the confirmation. None came so we eventually contacted them on WhatsApp and got the confirmation. This seems to be an increasing problem in Colombia with restaurants that have automated booking, that they want you to use but they donât complete their part of the transaction.Getsemani is a fast improving area and it currently looks like a building site. The restaurant is on a pleasant but fairly dark street. Like many restaurants they donât open the doors until seven oâclock so time your arrival well.We werenât the first in the queue and when we reached the hostess there was much pulling of faces. The room itself was nearly empty but clearly our reservation, which did exist, was creating a problem. We were led out of the main room into what I presume was the bar, a rather claustrophobic room.We werenât happy with this and thereâs no language issue here as my wife is Colombian. Much shrugging so we decided to leave and as we passed what I presume to be one of the managers he just ignored us.Now, no matter how good your food is a little customer interaction - even an apology that this was the only table available - might have helped. If there was an overbooking issue - although this was 7 p.m. and 90% of the tables in the main room were empty we could have agreed to have returned on another day. One got the idea that our booking was something of an inconvenience and our departure would resolve a problem for them. There are a lot of good restaurants in Cartagena these days and this looks as if might become a very valuable addition. One does hope that in this case success isnât bringing an âattitudeâ

I found this place when I was searching for a restaurant near my hotel. Oh wow...it did not disappoint. I had the salmon and my husband had chicken stuffed with cream cheese. Both were absolutely delicious. We finished with coffee creme brulee and an iced coffee made with coconut. Also had a torrontes wine with dinner. The service was great. Francisco was our waiter. You can sit inside or outside, which was nice. I would highly recommend checking this place out.Dear MidwestWesttraveler ! Thank you very much for leaving us this fantastic comment. The truth is that our team is that kind, because our customers are amazing, and you have not been the exception. We hope to see you soon!

Antique's gallery in a colonial romantic palace that recovers its splendor serving cartagena's traditionals and Caribbean inspired dishes by local chef Gerson Guardo. We also have some of the best spain's tapas due to spanish designer and owner.
The staff is very kind and nice. They speak English. The food is very delicious, all of it. Fish, meat and and dessert. It's not the cheapest restaurant in cartagena, especially if you love wine, but it is absolutely worth the visit. The location itself is very different and cool. RecommendedDear Tatianayour comment is a great feedback. It`s a joy having such nice clients with us.Regards,

The ceviche here was good not the best in Cartagena (read my other reviews). The atmosphere is dark as you walk down from street level. They only have ceviche on the menu. The service here was real bad..had to walk up and find our waitress each time we wanted something.

We went to this restaurant Sep 9,2019 with two clise friends. The reception was ver professional and friendly. We all chose local cocktails, which were very enticing and tasted delicious. We the chose the 7-course âmenu degustazioneâ. It was exceptionally good. Each course was explained in detail by the competent and very well-mannered, quick waitors, and we all loved the truly fine food, the best we had all had after almost 10 days vacation in Colombia. We will go again this Sunday for our farewell Colombia dinner. This place is a great recommendation: it deserves at least 16 Gault-Millau and or one Michelin star. The knowledge that after 10 days of visiting Cartagena, they found in Mar y Zielo the best food in the city, fills us with deep joy and satisfaction. It is to know that you could live an unforgettable experience in this place, which we all do with love and detail for each of you. Thank you for the recommendations. A hug.
