This used to be a dirty and full of smoke pub for years in i the area of block of flats. The change after a reconstruction is stunning. Clean, nice interior, staff rather ok, very good beer especially Lobkovic an Cerna hora. We had an excellent salmon, very good schnitzels for children only the pig knee was over baked.Prices according reasonable Czech standard. Definitely worthy to try even though a bit out of the town centre.

Fast-if you're in a hurry, that's the place to go. prices are lower than in other restaurants, portions are moderate, there's not a lot of place to sit, sometimes unusual meal on the menu, I'd call the system as semi-self served.

We had a nice afternoon sitting in the courtyard of this newly opened yet historical pub. One of the locals tried to explain the historical significance of the pub, but unfortunately I didn't understand. The staff were friendly and beer, per usual for the Czech Republic, was delicious. The courtyard was full of native speakers out with friends and family. They looked to be eating traditional Czech fare and along with their lively discussion.

I have been to this pub few times already and have always been happy with what I got. This is a non-smoking place which still quite rare in pubs in Czech. They have a good beer brewed in their in-house brewery. The menu contains all the major Czech traditional meals so if you like to try Czech local traditional meals with a good beer for a very reasonable prices in a clean environment, that´s the place. It is just short walk from the castle - opposite the Potmoneum.

On our 2 days trip to Litomysl, we went out one night for a dinner and looking around the city, menu of hotel Aplaus drew our attention. The restaurant interior is very decent and the staff is both friendly and polite.We skipped the starters (we are not so big eaters :-)) and went directly for the main part. I had a pork tenderloin cooked sous vide with gratinated potatoes, my wife tried the czech classic, confit duck leg with potato dumblings. Both meals were cooked to perfection and we enjoyed them very much.I was very nicely surprised to find such a perfect restaurant in Litomysl, so when we come back to the town, we know where to head for a nice dinner.

We visited this restaurant when in Litomysl checking the Agricultural school. Great location for restaurant. First impression, i was it schocked when they ask for reservation, would expect the host service at the door if they want to run it this way. Nevertheless that was only one cloud on the visit. The food was delicious, servis perfect, timing superb and price fair. Will come again.
