Climbing the cliffs from Elbe valley to Pravcicka brana (Preibischer tor) you might need a short rest. Visit the "Sokoli hnizdo" (Falconnest) in the same region and add the needed energy

My wife and I had dinner there. I had the Bohemian Schweize mushroom (pfefferlinge) with cream with knödel (dumpling). Mine was very tasty and filling. She had the trout with butter and lemon which she said was delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive as they could be, as it was busy. Happily recommend. Only criticism is that she thought that the side salad dressing was a bit of a let down. I thought it was fine.

We were hungry and could not decide where to go for lunch. Somehow we sit here and ordered something we thought would be okay. We were exhausted, so mostly the drinks were our favourite here, but we tried the cuisine as well ;-) We sat outside, because it was sunny and quite hot day. Even when you sit right next to a street, donât worry as there is almost no traffic at all. Inside we used just restrooms, so cannot tell exactly, but seemed to be quite regular. The service...well...I canât tell a word here, but still I have some feeling they might get less bored. In fact two girls were polite and quick enough, but still I felt somehow we are slightly disturbing them. Okay, it was full, but stil...The food... average. There is nothing more to say. You should choose wisely and be careful and you can get a decent meal. But I am pretty sure that there would be some nasty little traps to have ;-)

After visiting the markets in Hrensko wears dinner at this restaurant. Seating in available inside and outside and waiters were very friendly. Highly recommend the Palatschinken with Cinnamon and Sugar (Chechz Crepes).

This place is a treasure. For anyone interested in militaria, this is a free museum. You dine surrounded by an eclectic array of military armaments, uniforms, equipment and photographs dating back to the turn of the last century. There are amazing sporting trophies on the walls and across the doorways. The photographs above does not do it justice. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic about their displays, the food is excellent, and the beer is what you would expect from the Czech Republic. I've been there twice, and will be back there as soon as I'm in the area again.

This is a very nice family run place. The food is genuine, very tasty and portions are very generous. Our kids ate everything which is unusual really (the had pork snitzel). I took fried cheese with baked potatoes - it was marvelous!! Last but not least was the knedel with berries (pictured)

The food was not that bad. But the overall experience was so 1990s with dozens mostly fried meals on the menu. If they shift to more locally-inspired cuisine products it might be better.

We had three meals there and all of them were great. The place is nice with amazing view, children playground, sitting inside or outside under the roof. The only strange thing - the owners or practitioners were sitting in the restaurant instead of the office with pcs and papers and speaking about their business problems. Well, you do not want to listen it,you wish to enjoy your meal.

We visites the restaurant after a long tour through the area and were very satisfied. The service was very friendly and the food delicious. No long waiting time either. You must try the homemade chips and drink at least one round of Malinovka (alcohol free raspberry lemonade).

We spent three nights in the hotel and had three dinners here, since it is the best option in the area. Excellent food, kind of modern czech cuisine, very well executed. Good choice of venison as well. The portions are quite big, maybe even too much.Very tasty local beer. The service was very nice.
