I had to organize a meeting classmates forty years after graduation. Because I'm 40 years away from my hometown, I asked my brother, what restaurant in the city's is the best one and he assured me that certain Basta Fidli. OK - I finished a booking there, we were there and now I can write just one sentence: It was perfect. The food was excellent, the staff attentive and unobtrusive, the prices reasonable. None astonishment of everyone in our company wanted to pay separately, when I broke a wine glass, the table was cleared away before I re-ordered - and all with a smile.I'm not writting reviews and give 5 stars too often - but here I give 5 stars with joy.Since none of the more than 20 classmates I have not heard even a hint of dissatisfaction - Can you imagine better recommendation?

My second visit to this restaurant after a gap of two years. I think the ownership may have changed but the food is still fantastic. Dined with four others and all our dishes were delicious, beautifully cooked and presented. No wonder booking is essential - it is a small restaurant. For a meal like this in a UK top restaurant you would pay triple the price. All dishes are reasonably priced and a child's portion was no trouble. Attentive, pleasant service - English is spoken. Deserts all home made and wonderful. Lovas is also a Pension. I didn't stay there - if I did I'd never leave.

TradiÄnà Äeská restaurace s Äepovanou tankovou Plznà a výhledem do LázeÅského parku.
Stopped for lunch and initially we were served by a sullen waiter who point blank said they did not have the meny in English, fortunately the other staff were far more friendly and an English menu soon appeared and the lunch special that we ordered was really tasty and extremely well priced. The beers were cold and cheap and the outside terrace was a great place to be. Overall a good experience with great food and a fab view almost spoilt by the poor service of one individual...thats the Czech republic for you unfortunately (our experience over many trips in many years, sorry)

The restaurant is located not far from the center but in a quiet location in the middle of the forest. The interior is tastefully furnished in style. Absolutly fantastic food, meat specialties, homemade dumplings, original sweet desserts such as chocolate cream with oranges... Friendly and professional staff. Also very reasonable price.

Guarantee of quality in Podebrady - service and food. Nice terrace in summer. Child friendly. If there is a problem they face it professionally.
We had a business training in this town and unfortunately this place was picked as the place where we gonna eat. I understand that it is a small town restaurant, but I was still surprised by the low quality of the service. Waiter was chaotic and rude. The dish was a big portion of low quality food. Never again.
While visiting Nymburk, we saw this lovely restaurant in the main square, during a very hot day its outdoor umbrellas and comfy seating were very inviting. The service was very prompt and pleasant, the drinks arrived quickly. We chose a cheese pizza, schnitzel and grilled liver. The pizza was absolutely out of this world delicious with plenty of toppings and perfect crust, schnitzel was fine, but I have to take one star away for my very tough and burnt on the edges liver, that took much longer than the pizza to arrive. The beer was delicious and cold. Weâll definitely stop by again, but only for the pizza.
Family-owned modern style Czech cuisine. Available to sit outside and enjoy sunshine. Local wines and roasted coffee.
It looks like a French bistro, especially the garden, but inside is a pure, nice and bright Ikea style, small and honest play for an afternoon snack or a sparkling drink. A waiter, not a waitress, homemade pastry and rather expensive main courses.

Great food, nice staff and a very specific atmosphere. We had a lovely time. The waiting time for food was little bit longer and the prices are little bit higher for the location. If you are in Nymburk definitely a place to visit

Proper local traditional restaurant with proper local food and traditional food (always a good sign to me is no English menu).Food was amazing (laughably cheap) and the chap who served us spoke fantastic English and suggested dishes both nights, could no fault and will be the first place we go to when back next month - thank you for the amazing food and helping us choose - highly recommend.
