Our hotel / restaurant is situated in picturesque historical area - Babicka valley near chateau Ratiborice We focus on cooking czech specialities and tasty steaks :)
On our way to "Grandma's Valley" we got hungry. No wonder.. it was about lunchtime. In the middle of nowhere we accidentally encountered this goodlooking cozy enterprise and ordered our lunch. I was absolutely satisfied about how the meal is greatly flavoured. The waiter (young boy) was so helpful and when asking for direction to the Valley came owner herself and told us very kindly where to go, what to avoid etc. Good people here. God bless them.

The restaurant is in modern, simple style. Food can be variable, particularly outside the main season. The main attraction is the amazing view of the town, particularly from the outside terrace, but the restaurants on the main square are better value.

This restaurant has yet to let me down. My wife and I visit every time we come back to Czech Republic and always love the food and service.
:-)).Co by tu jeszcze? Z drugiej (hmm, trzeciej? ;-)) strony, nawet za piwem na ogóŠtrza zaczekaÄ. No, ale (heh, z czwartej strony? Gusta i guÅciki, wicie, rozumicie. ;-)

Although the restaurant looks very classic and a bit outdated at first sight - it's well worth visiting. The staff provides a friendly service - the kitchen offers tasty food for a real fair price. Although the restaurant is located in Poland (about 3 km from the czech border by car, not even 1 km by bicycle) they offer mostly czech dishes.
Me and my boyfriend went for a holiday to see something different. We went to this restaurant and the guy who owns this place was very pleasant and nice. We went there for lunch every day and for dinner too. The food was delicious and filling. I was amazed how reasonable prices this gentlement had. We are going next year to see this place again just because this gentlement Frantisek Berka offered us a lovely room in his restaurant.

I am going to review restaurant part only. For lunch time there is no better place than this. Quick and pleasant service and tasty czech traditional meals like dumplings, goulash, svickova etc. with great cheap prices (2.5 - 3⬠per course). Standard menu selection is average but tasty still. If you need WC it is closed for public, as restaurant guest there hangs a key for you close the bar.

Nenà to Å¡patné, nenà to nijak výjimeÄnÄ dobré.

I loved their traditional Czech food, 4 persons ate fried cheese, potato croquets and tomato/cucumber salad, drank beer and we paid 800 kr including tip. Food was very delicious and cheap even though it's a restaurant located in the market square. Furniture and generally design are pretty old, but for me it isn't a big disadvantage. Service was very good and fast. I'm not sure if it's allowed to smoke there or not, but no one smoked and there was no characteristic smell.
