The Vasirovsky Dvur restaurant is a stylish restaurant with excellent home-made Czech cuisine, ideal for a pleasant lunch or dinner.
We decided to try the place following friends recommendation. No regrets. The restaurant is located in a small village ~30min from Prague near a horse farm. The menu is typically Czech with choice between 7 or 8 main courses. Which usually means focusing on quality and contrasts with the usual 4 pages and 30 choices in standard czech restaurants. The smilly welcome (another contrast...) definitely paved the path for a good moment. 4 different meals (salad, chicken, goose and porc) ordered confirmed the impression: no mistake. Tasty and fresh products and right quantity. There was no fancy presentation nor top notch dishes just a traditional and good lunch. We liked it and will surely come back.

Pub with non-smoking interior and summer terrace. We offer Pilsner Urquell 12° (from beer tank), Velkopopovicky Kozel 10° and special beer types from Matuska Brewery. We serve hamburgers, hot dogs, hot wings, salads, goulash, roasted pork and much more :)
For a bunch of guys wanting to relax with some beers after a long working week, this place was just right. Good friendly atmosphere, relaxed and no big screen imposing itself onto everyone The beer was of the high quality you expect in Czech Republic (sorry, can't recall what it was called...it was a long evening!!). Best of all, the so called bar food was terrific, better than many restaurants. In particular, the ribs were divine. If I get the chance to go back to Rakovnik, I'm coming back here for a beer or 3

Stopped in the town for a walk along the river. after decided to get a late lunch. Popped in here as the restaurant we were going to visit was closed. I have to say I had low expectations but what a surprise. The food was amazing. One of the best burgers I have tasted. I devoured it with a smile. I would highly recommend popping in here if you are passing. The service was fine, ok one of the waitresses could smile a little more but the other waitress was lovely and chatty. It just goes to show that you cannot judge a book by its cover. Great place.

For a large group, we could pick anything on the menu, it looked good and tasted good. There is no food issue here. I've seen this described as the place to eat in Rakovnik, and where restaurants are concerned this will take some beating Our large group of people left well fed and happy, so a good choice It's also GREAT VALUE

Drove in for the late lunch on Sunday, place was packed in the garden, but no problem the waiter found me the place on the large table with bunch of bikers, nice guys, ordered wiener schnitzel with potato salad , probably the best one I ever had, service was exelent and fast. The place bit in the country site, not very well marked on the roads, but it's worth every penny to look for it.

This place has a unique old style feel and serves tasty food and drinks. Its setting is just pitoresque and its a well hidden spot in the area. Reccomend.

After a visit to the castle, we had a very nice lunch at this restaurant. The restaurant was the former home of the game master and is very picturesque on the mill creek. The service was quick and the food was very reasonably priced. It is also a very quick walk from the restaurant to the train station. They have several traditional venison dishes.

We arrived after 9pm as guests to the adjoining hotel and were kindly informed that the kitchen was closed. Finally they agreed to make us a chicken schnitzel with French fries. This meal was absolutely fantastic and can recommend. Great service and very friendly.

Stopping at this restaurant was a great idea. Not far from the train station, excellent food, beer and nice service. The prices are set for domestic clients, the kitchen offers meat, fish, typical Czech dishes, excellent beer and all near of the castle. Whoever wants to visit the beautiful KÅivoklát Castle, I highly recommend stopping at this restaurant.

We will make another trip to Krivoklat if only to visit this place again! The staff were all friendly, the beer was good, the garden was good, the view is stunning. The garden filled with delightful smells from the barbecue - the farmers burger is HUGE and the spit roasted chicken was some of the best chicken I've ever had. We also enjoyed paddling in the stream right alongside the garden. A magical place!
