Small, cozy reastaurant. The service is really friendly and helpful. The food is off the chains! If you want to eat quality food in Boden, this is the ONLY play you can do it and trust me, it's worth it! Enjoy!

Panelen is known for it's one main attraction, Pepper Sauce. And they do that well. Sadly, the rest of the experience doesn't live up to the same high point. The food is ok, not earth shattering, or especially good value, but ok. Service is where this restaurant falls down. Specifically, speed of taking orders, and speed in serving the food. That's enough to make me walk 100m up the road to a more professional establishment, albeit without the pepper sauce.
Often one orders at the bar. During our last visit (and it will be our last) we were kept waiting at the bar by a person, who we later learnt was the owner, for about 10 minutes. When another person finally emerged from the kitchen, we were told to go to a table and someone would come and take our order. Why the owner could not have told us that herself 10 minutes earlier remains a mystery. After 15 minutes sitting at a table, we went in search of the ellusive waiter/ess. Finally tracking one down, we were told that it would be a further 30 minutes before any food would be delivered. We decided not to wait around to see how accurate the estimate was. Looking around the restaurant it was maybe 50% full, so being overworked clearly wasn't an issue. Fortunately Boden has some new restaurants who are proving to be much more customer focused. Panelen has had a good run in Boden but needs to lift it's game in a modern era. People expect more.

Hamburger chain with no frills. Burger and fries were average, Seating is very plastic and not charming at all but I guess they don't want you to stay longer than necessary in this crammed place.

Typical chinese restaurant, don't deliver the flavours I demand for a higher grade and a 3.. very fast lunch serving is a plus.

This restaurant is hard to find if you are not familiar with Boden. Easy though if you ask for the church. In one of the small red houses this restaurant offers excellent food in a genuine rural surrounding. Our lunch was a real treat. Besides we had a native English speaking waiter.

Went here Saturday August 4th on a recommendation from an American friend. We figured if an American says it's good, it must be, as they sure know their burgers!
We booked ahead as we had heard it can get very busy, and we were glad we did, as it filled up fast.
When we arrived, we received a pleasant greeting from the man on the bar. He seated us straight away. The restaurant is done out like a typical American diner, with red cushioned Seating and lots of chrome everywhere. Pictures of the likes of Elvis and Marylin Monroe adorn the walls, and there were cute little red and white spotted curtains at the windows.
The food took over half an hour to come after we ordered it, and we were slightly confused as to why the next table-who ordered after us, got their order 10 minutes before us-however, this, and the fact that a portion of our fries didn't arrive and we had to go and chase them, are our only criticisms (and neither of those are hanging offences are they?). The food was really nice, with big portions. Both myself and my partner ate the burger called The King, and it was huge. This was 160 kronor, and came with a basket of mixed fries with dip, and coleslaw.
My son had a kids' burger, which was a little too chargrilled for his liking, so he also got another (they were quite small), and asked for it to be cooked a little less than the first one. This arrived at the table very quickly.
We would definitely come back as we really enjoyed the meal. I think from a business and marketing point of view, they could do with extra staff, as the barman/waiter really ran himself ragged doing all the front of house, and it was very apparent that he was stressed. They should also in my opinion, explore putting desserts on the menu, for instance knickerbocker glory. This would make Suzie Q's darn near perfect!

This is an excellent restaurant serving great Thai food with a smile. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. It is spicey food, so be prepared for that. Portions are good size and prices are fair. It is not built as a restaurant and doesn't offer an intimate dining experience. Most people use this as a take-out venue, which suits us just fine. Meals arrive quickly and are well presented. The kitchen is in public view so you can see it is clean and organised. Overall, a good place to find good Thai food.

It has a very nice selection of salads for you to pick and choose. Good coffee. Very healthy food. Great music, nice atmosphere. Too bad I couldn't go for dinner as they close early. Don't miss it.

Heard lots about this place and got to visit it for a coffee and a very tasty slice of carrot cake.
Really good selection of fresh sandwiches, cakes hot and cold drinks.
The venue is kitsch to say the least but fascinating at the same time with the craziest collection of Americana and Swedish furniture, costumes, advertising and some great 1950/60s cars.
Northern Sweden seems to have a love affair with the 50s and this place represents it.
Definitely worth a visit. Its like a miniature museum with a good cup of coffee
