Dropped in here for supper and wasn't disappointed. Helped the proprietor clean the steps after some little scrotes knocked over the plant pots. Then onto probably one of the best bindi bhajis I've tasted. Clean, not slimy, cooked from raw okra, no excessive sauce, if a curry house is good st this, it's my favourite.

We've been here many times before but I feel I must say just how lovely and tasty the food is here. How it's rated second in Blyth is beyond me! The staff are great, helpful and cheerful. The food is so delicious, full of flavour and beautifully spiced. And the menu so varied I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

We visited for a catch up and ended up talking more than eating. It wasn’t a problem for the staff, we ordered the tapas to share and they are excellent value and we had extra garlic mushrooms on the side. We couldn’t finish it between the two of us. It’s a great place to come with family and friends.

We had time without any kids so looking for somewhere close by for something satisfying on a damp Saturday lunchtime.
We knew of this place and gave it a try.
The menu at first glance was fabulous, loads to choose from, didn’t have to take chips if you didn’t want which I find great being some me with a smaller appetite.
We watched plates coming past and us and to be honest I was a tad worried as the fish were basically small whales, hanging off the plates! I ordered a fish finger butty and hubby ordered a cheese patty and chips. The wait wasn’t horrendous considering it was quite busy.
The food was really very good. The chips were not greasy at all. Portions very good and all very tasty. Tea was nice and strong and everything reasonably priced too.
Service was friendly and efficient and the place was clean and tidy.
All in all, worth a visit and we will drag parents there soon and next time we’ll save space for the lovely looking gelato!

We visited for a meal after not being here for quite some time. We opted for the Banquet A. The food was cooked and presented as always to perfection. The restaurant is spotless and the service is impeccable. There is not a better Chinese around.

Situated on the cliff tops of Seaton Sluice, The Kings Arms is in a fantastic location for anything from a coffee on a chilly day to a 3 course meal. We offer a warm friendly welcome and we take pride on the fact all our food is home cooked! We look forward to seeing you soon...
I've been visiting The Kings Arms for years with my grandparents, this year it's my 26th birthday and my parents wanted to take me out somewhere I had memories and nostalgia. (Also, I do know some of the staff). The food is great home cooked, comfort pub food and some of the menu has a yummy "different" twist for those people who want to try something new. My mam ordered the 'Haggis, neeps and tetties' which is a loved meal of hers, she literally might as well have licked the plate, even then she started stealing off me and my Dad's plates! My Dad had the mixed grill which was monstrous and well worth the money, happy chappy he was when he managed to conquer it! (The onion rings were pretty much big enough to wear as head bands which impressed him). Myself, I got the seafood platter and everything tasted so fresh and was presented beautifully. We also decided on desserts (not my Dad however, he was ready to blow), King's Mess and Spiced Apple Crumble which were both amazingly presented and even made it to instagram before being demolished. The staff were polite, friendly and always on hand. The atmosphere of this pub is cosy and homely, I love it. No blaring TVs or loud music to ruin it. It also happens to be situated on the coast with beautiful views. I see people complaining about prices and 'extra charges' for more gravy or chips. People, you've came here for home cooked good food, that is what you're getting. If you want hand outs, go to your relatives and scran through their freezer. You ordered, you got what you ordered, anything extra.. naturally.. is going to cost extra. It's like £1 you're complaining about. Peace out.

Been going to the Harbour view for some years now always been welcomed by friendly staff and management the fish and chips are offered in portion sizes if you have a good appetite go for the large that will keep you going for the rest of the day the rest of the menu is equally as good, the restaurant is spotlessly clean and the staff always look very smart in there uniforms they also have a good selection of wine and cold beers if you fancy a tipple .

Over two hour's to deliver 4 pizzas for me and my children, dont lie to your customers and tell them an hour when its two hours....shocking will never use you again and would advise anyone else to use one of the many others who deliver WITHIN TWO HOURS

When visiting Newcastle from Hull we decided to meet some family at The Wallaw. We weren't expecting much with it being a weatherspoons, however we were very pleasantly surprised. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was very reasonably priced and very good quality. We thoroughly loved every part of our visit. We will definitely recommend to others and visit again when in the vicinity. Thanks for a very pleasurable experience.
