With its iconic fairy-tale church steeple perched atop the tiny rock island at the middle of Lake Bled, Bled is a sight that stays in your memory. The town has also long been a destination for those seeking relaxation, through its sunny alpine air and thermal springs, which are especially welcoming after a day of mountain trekking, golf or touring on horseback.

The Rikli Balance Hotel has an elevated position in the centre of Bled overlooking the Bled lake and castle. The four-star superior hotel has 150 rooms, including 10 suites. All the rooms were completely renovated in 2017 which was followed by the restaurant, lobby and conference center in 2018. The hotel hosts the Živa Wellness centre and the Živa pool complex and world of saunas. The cuisine at the hotel is international with some local Slovenian touches and can be experianced in at the Rikli buffet and live cooking restaurant or the Veranda a-la carte restaurant.
Rikli Balance Hotel is everything one could ask for. It's modern and clean, but in a warm and inviting way. The rooms have generous use of wood. The lobby has some beautiful "living walls" of plants. The restaurant – which offers an excellent breakfast – has a great view of the lake and Bled Castle. Somewhat incongruously, there are several robots roaming around offering sweets or perhaps other goodies – I never did figure them out. There's an enormous heath center with pools, a water slide, and jacuzzi spas. The lake shore is a very short walk away. Our room (310) was large and comfortable. It did not have a lake view, which would have been a bonus. The bed was great, with a softer mattress than in most of the hotels where we stayed while touring the region.

Penzion Berc is a small boutique hotel with over 60 years of tradition. This renovated rustic farmhouse from 1843 creates a warm, homely atmosphere, and is surrounded with a lovely garden. We are situated in a quiet area , only a few minutes walk from the lake. Breakfast contains high quality ingredients of local origin. Our restaurant offers food, cooked without any food additives and flavour enhancers. Great selection of Slovene wines for every taste. Live piano music every night. Welcome.
Absolutely loved our visit there with my mother. The staff was phenomenal, working above and beyond - including Marion who combined incredible service with too-notch knowledge of the area and useful recommendations. We’ll be coming back soon!

I absolutely loved this hotel. A beautiful property with a stunning view of the lake. The service excellent too. The decor was stunning. The worst thing was that we only stayed for one night! Would definitely return.

Our family run guesthouse was opened in 2012. Visit us in the centre of Bled and your holiday will be pleasant and full of activities all the time. Close to our pension there are a lot of attractions and sights as well as many opportunities for relaxation and recreation. 10 modern and comfortable rooms offer quality accommodation to enjoy your rest during your holiday.
We visited here back in 2015 and loved it so much had to come back. We weren't disappointed. A perfect stay again. Peter is welcoming and helpful and offers a great breakfast. The rooms are super clean. We had room 12 which had everything we needed. Comfortable bed, excellent powerful shower, fridge, kettle and balcony. The location is great, easy to reach the Lake, bus station and plenty of restaurants. Set amongst chalet style buildings and in a very quiet area. Bled area is beautiful and we loved our walk to Vintgar Gorge, (it's much busier than it was 7 years ago but still a must visit). A stroll round the lake and to the viewpoints of Ojstrica, Klopca Ljubezni - Velika Osojnica and Mala Osojnica. They're tough on the legs but the views are worth it. Take plenty of water. Our only disappointment was having to cut what was meant to be a 4 night stay to 3 due to Easyjet cancelling our flight. :( Again if we come back to Bled we'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you Peter for helping us out due to our fight issues and for a great stay. Tom and I wish you and your family all the best.

The boutique Hotel Lovec is situated in the very heart of Bled. Harmonically blended with its natural environment, it proudly continues the tradition of the guesthouse, which has been standing here for over a hundred years. The hotel architecture is inspired by the local milieu and enables guests to fully enjoy the hotel’s surrounding area, offering wonderful views across the lake and the nearby mountains. The natural daylight and materials give Hotel Lovec a touch of warmth and homeliness that sets it apart from other Bled hotels.
After staying in a cramped hotel room in Venice, the gigantic room at Hotel Lovec seemed like a palace! I loved our experience and I would go back in a heartbeat. I've never seen a hotel room with better toiletries. I was disappointed when I learned my dad paid for dinner at the hotel because I thought it would be mediocre hotel food. That could not be further from the truth. It was delicious and the staff was very welcoming. Highly recommended!

The renovation of Bled’s largest hotel will focus on highlighting the natural features of its surroundings. Situated just a stone’s throw from the Bled promenade, the Hotel Park is extremely popular with guests who like to stay in the heart of the action. The renovation will give it a brand new image themed on water and the park around the hotel. Symbolising the source of life, Lake Bled and Bled’s thermal water spring, references to water will be woven into the architectural design of the communal spaces and the rooms facing the lake, as well as running through every service offered by the hotel. The renovation will also focus on the park, which surrounds the hotel and gives it its name. The rooms with views of the park will be redesigned to reflect its story. On top of that, the indoor thermal pool on the top floor of the hotel, which boasts breathtaking views of Lake Bled, will also be renovated and given a brand new image.
We loved our stay at this hotel. Unlike other reports we found the staff to be friendly and helpful and would say they are a credit to the hotel. Our room overlooked the gardens and car park and, yes, with the door open it could be a bit noisy but when the door was closed it was fine. The room itself was spacious enough and the bed was probably a super king size and very comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and clean and very modern. Lets face it you go on holiday to see as much as possible, not to sit in your room. We were on a bed and continental breakfast stay and would like to say that it must be the best continental breakfast we have ever had. The choices were much more than we expected. We had the buffet dinner a couple of times and again it was really good value for 15 euros with lots of choice. We were given an Julian Alps pass by reception which gets you a discount from things like local restaurants and the castle - well worth having. A couple of places to eat that we could recommend are Spica bar (discount given here for the Julian Alps pass); Promenada Burger (small place where you can only eat outside, but the burgers are fabulous); and Tropical Kava Bar situated in the shopping precinct opposite the hotel, but they only take cash. A trip to the island is worth going to but just bear in mind you only get 45 minutes there. We paid to go in the church and the bell tower but didn't think it was worth it. Vintgar Gorge is fabulous but you need to be quite physically fit as it is quite a climb to get back to the road. Postojna Caves are also worth visiting but once again there is quite a bit of walking involved. We did this trip using local buses with the help of the hotel staff searching for information. We booked to do the 100% cave experience but didn't think it was worth it and on reflection would have just booked to just see the caves. We loved our holiday and Lake Bled and would have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel Park.

Charming old house a little off the beaten track in Bled. About 10 min walk to lake. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom, good free wifi. Limited free parking outside. No lift and some level differences in the room we stayed in. Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Breakfast was ok, but a little too many plastic containters. Note that there is an excellent restaurant in the hotel, the Old Cellar. Highly recommend eating there.

It is a nice hotel. The rooms are average, clean. The inside of the hotel needs a bit of renovation. The staff is friendly but sometimes a bit unorganized. They offer breakfast - because of corona virus you get 3 options and you decide one day earlier which one of them you want. You can also get dinner in the hotel restaurant. They also offer renting a bike or electric scooter. You can rent them for the whole day or only half. The location is 2,5km out of Bled but you can go there easily (tales about 20 minutes) by bike or e-scooter.

Attractive 4-story Hotel situated 4 km from Lesce-Bled train station & 35 km from Brnik Airport. * kindly note smaller renovation process is ongoing at Bled Rose Hotel and not all services are fully operational. Until 24.07.2019 there is no air conditioning or available features at wellness centre.
The hotel is new and modern, in an excellent location, overlooking the lake. The room was small but the bed was extraordinarily comfortable. The bathroom is also very small and there is a problem of half-protected shower cabin from which water simply must go out. The wellness center could benefit from more resting space, and steam sauna should be fixed - the floor is scorching hot, but the temperature in the room is barely lukewarm. At breakfast there was quite a spectacular choice of food. The only thing missing are freshly squeezed juices. All in all nice and comfy. The quite low rate I’m giving is due to the unpleasant surprise in form of a SNAKE exhibited in the breakfast room at breakfast time. I can understand new concepts, I love animals, i support the idea that getting to know some animals might reduce the fear or animosity. Bu i DON’t support being forced to face my worst fear without any warning, at hotel breakfast. I really don’t find it amusing. If I knew about this original way that this hotel uses to entertain its guests I wouldn’t have gone there even if they offered me to stay there for free, let alone paying for it.

We booked a room for a one-night getaway in this lovely hotel located right at the center of Bled. The facilities were so clean and nice, we spent the afternoon at Wellness Živa and enjoyed a great breakfast. The best thing about this place are it's employees, thanks once again for a lovely stay!
