We have lived in Smokvica for five years, and this is the first time we have visited. The ambiance is terrific, walking down the grapevine path to the Seating area, where the food is prepared right before your eyes. It was all very well prepared and we were given a lot of food. The only drawback we found was that there is a limited menu. Three kinds of grilled meat and the usual blitva and potato vegetable. The hostess was very accommodating although she was handling four tables and eleven customers. We will return and direct our guests here in the future.

We had a great meal at this unusual place. We sat at the window and enjoyed the breeze. A great selection of seafood but we started with a selection of anchovies, cheeses, olives and salad.
We enjoyed the whole dining experience and especially appreciated the friendly service from the young guy serving and the local version of grappa at the end of the meal.

The first thing you'll see when you walk through the entryway is the outdoor grill. The smell of grilled meat was fabulous, but we were in the mood for seafood. This place did not disappoint. We tried the octopus salad, fish pate, anchovies, black risotto, and risotto with shrimp. All were tasty, but the pate and black risotto were particularly good.

You have to look carefully to find Tinel but you won't be disappointed when you find it. Tucked away on a side street in the charming town of Blato, the atmosphere is wonderful and the pizza is too. If Tinel were located in my home town in the U.S. the lines of people waiting for the pizza would be out the door and down the sidewalk. As good as the food was, the check was even more pleasing. Our party of three had two large pizzas, an order of carbonara, three beers, and a mineral water all for the princely sum of 25 euros. While I am visiting Korcula only for a couple of days, my friends are staying on for another week and are already making plans to return to this small gem.

This little bistro serves a mixture of traditional food and the usual suspects. We are here twice, watching the sun set over the sea. Would recommend the squid risotto which was delicious, the scampi (this is what they call whole langoustine, not deep fried chunks) and the smoked tuna. Try the Grk wine if you like a dryish white - it was excellent. Great service too.

Bajko is a family owned, quite isolated from the hustle of the town, with pleasant and lovely atmosphere, serving freshly caught fish and sea food, and traditionally prepared wild boar goulash with gnocchi.Open daily 18-24hrs, from 10.June-15.September.
Visited Bajko end of Aug 2016. I like the setting, as it is not very crowded and tables are set far apart, as they should be. Service was very fast, we had fresh grilled fish, and cevapcici. Bread is home made, and we finished first basket even before food arrived. We also had red table vine, and it was superb, complementing the fish well. Restrooms were clean and well appointed.I definitely recommend visiting this place and having a proper, fresh mea
